Von Digne-les-Bains auf der N 85 gute 10 km südwestwärts Richtung A 51 bzw. Sisteron. In Mallemoison auf die D 17 abbiegen, die in nördlicher Richtung auf Thoard zuläuft (13,5 km ab Mallemoison). An Thoard vorbei und weiter, zunächst auf der D 3, später auf der D 117, bei Verzweigungen rechts haltend, nach Duyes. 600 m nach Duyes überqueren wir den Bramefan. Von der Brücke fahren wir dann noch 2,7 km weiter bergauf und fahren vorbei an der Einfahrt zu einer religiösen Sekte ("Communauté de l'Esclache"). Bei einen Schild ("Circuit des Brigands"-"Site des Tidalites") biegen wir links auf eine Piste ab, die wir etwa 400 m bis zu ihrem Ende fahren. Hier Wende- und Parkmöglichkeit.

Der Bach hat im Hochsommer kaum Wasser, nach Regenfällen färbt er sich aber schmutzig-braun (Fotos).
Trotzdem kann eine Begehung empfohlen werden, vor allem auch, wenn andere Schluchten in der Region zu viel Wasser führen.
Erlaubt vom 01. Mai bis 20. November in der Zeit von 10 bis 18 Uhr.
The stream has hardly any water in midsummer, but turns a dirty brown color after rainfall (photos).
Nevertheless, a visit is recommended, especially when other canyons in the region are carrying too much water.

Wo die Schlucht endet (nach dem 17-m-Seiler, einer längeren Abkletter- und Laufstrecke sowie einem letzten 4-m-Seiler, verlässt man den Bach (Steinmann) und folgt den Spuren, die in eine bewaldete Mulde hineinführen, welche im Süden durch eine Felswand begrenzt ist (schon beim Zustieg darauf achten!).
Wo die eindeutige Spur am Talschluss endet, nicht rechts steil hinauf, sondern links weiter und dann hinauf auf den linken (nördlichen) Rücken, auf dem wir (weglos) direkt zum geparkten Fahrzeug kommen.
Where the canyon exits (after the 17 m ropes, a longer downclimb and run and a final 4 m ropes), leave the stream (Steinmann) and follow the tracks that lead into a wooded hollow, which is bordered by a rock face to the south (pay attention to this during access!).

La première grande cascade a été en effet bien remaniée... Une lame de rocher s'est détaché d'une proéminence située en plein milieu. Il y avait une belle fissure pré-existante avec un arbuste qui avait poussé dedans. Pas de raison que le reste parte dans la foulée, mais méfiance... Le seuil aussi a été bouleversé avec un petit siphon au départ qui capte tout le débit, on évite de mettre les pieds dedans... Quelques mètres sous le rocher et le débit se scinde en deux bras équivalents, ce qui change radicalement la morphologie de cette cascade !!

⚠️⚠️⚠️ attention , sortie aujourd'hui pour vérifier le bloc qui menace de tomber à la cascade en goulotte , ne pas utiliser le point au sec rive droite trop dangereux ⚠️Le point dans l actif passe bien et plus en sécurité, ne traîner pas au bas de la cascade , ce Block devrait tombé dans les jours ou les mois qui suivent, l eau passe sous une grande partie du bloc et u.e fentes en niveau supérieur est constaté. Soyez prudent bon canyon à tous .Fait à deux en deux heures de voiture à voiture .
