Von Nizza auf der N 202 den Var ca. 29 km aufwärts bis Plan-du-Var. Kurz nach dieser Ortschaft rechts ab in das Tal der Vesubie. 19 km nach der Abzweigug durchfährt man Lantosque. Nach ca. 1.7 km biegt man nicht nach La Bollene ab, sondern folgt der Straße weiter nach Roquebillière und biegt bei der ersten Möglichkeit auf die M69 nach Roquebilliere ab. Im Ort dem Weg Richtung "Hameau de Conégo" folgen (Richtung Krankenhaus). Am Krankenhaus vorbei weiter der Straße folgen (nicht halbrechts abbiegen). In der vierten Serpentine der Schotterpiste folgen bis man auf eine Brücke über das Bachbett trifft. Hier parken ohne den Verkehr zu blockieren. (Keine offensichtliche Parkmöglichkeit)
From Nice, take the N 202 up the Var for approx. 29 km to Plan-du-Var. Shortly after this village, turn right into the Vesubie valley. 19 km after the turn-off, you pass through Lantosque. After approx. 1.7 km, do not turn off to La Bollene, but follow the road to Roquebillière and take the first turning onto the M69 to Roquebilliere. In the village, follow the road towards "Hameau de Conégo" (towards the hospital). Follow the road past the hospital (do not turn half right). At the fourth hairpin bend, follow the gravel road until you reach a bridge over the streambed. Park here without blocking the traffic. (No obvious parking possibility)

Vom Auto (750 m), den Pfad am orographisch rechten Ufer nehmen und bergan gehen. Bis zum Wegpunkt 1. Hier den Abzweig nach rechts nehmen. dem Weg folgen, bis er in Serpentinen Steil bergan geht. Am Ende der Serpentinen nach links gehen (Wegpunkt 2) dem Weg folgen nach zwei Richtungswechseln dem Weg an einem Haus vorbei weiter folgen bis Wegpunkt 3. Hier nach Rechts ins Tal einqueren bis zum Bach.
From the car (750 m), take the path on the orographic right bank and walk uphill. Follow the path until it goes steeply uphill in serpentines. At the exit of the hairpin bends, turn left (waypoint 2) and follow the path after two changes of direction, continuing past a house to waypoint 3. Turn right into the valley until you reach the stream.

Abstieg beginnt direkt mit einer recht vertikalen Sektion. Der hohe Abseiler hat nach 22 m einen Zwischenstand, danach C55. Achtung für größere Gruppen! Der Umsteiger hat keinen Platz für viele Personen, hier mehr Seil mitführen, damit durchgeseilt werden kann. Notausstieg nach ca. der Hälfte der Strecke linksseitig auf einem kleinen Pfad.
The descent begins directly with a fairly vertical section. The high rappel has an intermediate belay after 22 m, then C55. Caution for larger groups! There is not enough room for many people on the transfer, so carry more rope here so that you can rope through. Emergency exit after approx. half of the route on the left on a small path.

Automatisch importiert von Descente-Canyon.com für Canyon Gourgas Approche de 3,5km et 750D+ environ. On est sur des pentes très ensoleillées les 3/4 du temps puis on passe dans le vallon de Gourgas, à l’ombre et humide. Changement d’ambiance ! Point d’entrée dans le canyon (44.02014 7.26993, alt.1550). 37 obstacles numérotés avec des mini obstacles intermédiaires, désescalades parfois pas faciles, longues marches dans du cacabloc et éboulements qui finissent dans le canyon. Nombreux embâcles. La roche est peteuse par endroit, attention aux prises utilisées. ça parpine parfois, notamment dans la c45 où des blocs se sont détachés au passage de la corde ou d’au-dessus. Échappatoire avant l’obstacle 18. Un sanglier mort en décomposition dans le premier tiers, ca sent mauvais pas très longtemps. Ne pas sous estimer le canyon malgré sa cotation ! Il est long, on coince facilement la corde par inattention (ou des fois juste pas de bol !). L’eau est très froide, on n’a pas lâché les gants et le canyon voit peu le soleil. L’équipement est béton, classique du 06 ! A noter parfois des broches plus fines sur lesquelles le huit peut plus facilement se coiffer. On a mis 1h30 pour la marche d’approche, puis on a passé 6h dedans (avec un mauvais karma il faut l’avouer ^^ on est remontées sur corde une dizaine de fois. Promis d’habitude on est pas (trop) des ploucs du canyon…). On a mis 10min pour revenir au camion ensuite. C’est une sacré aventure ! En corde on avait 2x50m et une back up Line de 50m également. Longue descente, les deux encaissement sont très sympas mais les sections de marche en chaos de blocs et de troncs sont laborieuses. Pas mal de troncs et de branches dans les vasques. Equipement sur broches scellées RAS et obstacles numérotés. Il y a deux ou trois rappels supplémentaires après le « 1 ». On a trouvé la description pas hyper claire pour la portion de la c45.
