Location of Bayarcal Take the A-7 to junction 448, then follow the N340 towards Benahadux. At the first roundabout, take the third exit onto the A348 towards Fondón. Location of the Fuente del Zarzal, Arroyo Anchuelo, Palancón Sup and Palancón Inf ravines Cross it and continue towards Laujar; at the exit, take the junction on the right onto the AL-5402 towards Paterna. Carry on to Bayárcal and, after passing through the village, 500 metres further on there is a road/track on the left; head down to the bridge over the stream. Leave the car here for the return journey. We return to the road and pass two hairpin bends; at the third, which curves to the right, a track branches off straight ahead, leading us to the source of the stream. We park
Approach (2 min):
We went down to the stream
Tour (1 h 30):
Four abseils that are usually dry, with plenty of vegetation along the entire route. An interesting descent after rainfall
Return (1 min):
You’ll reach the bridge where we’ve parked the car for the return journey. If there’s only one car, we’ll have to go up to the road and walk to the car… about 4 km.
