Summary:
Very long, continuous and vertical route with over 50 passages to tackle by rope or by downclimbing. It is certainly the most physically demanding route on the island with no escape routes, and no possibility of being divided or shortened. The uncontaminated, wild and very sunny environment allows picturesque glimpses with a fantastic sea view, and the presence of pools with crystal clear water makes it almost a magical place.

Access:
If you want to save a hot walk back, arrange a boat with Nicholas +30 698 4508105 (English, no WhatsApp known) to check that he is running the boat. Arrange an approximate pickup time.
Park a car at Pachia Ammos beach. If taking a boat back, park at the west of the beach; if walking back park at the east end.
In the second car, go back for just over 2 km until you find the dirt road on the right that leads to "KPHMNIQTIEEA ". Go up the dirt road for about 2 km until you reach a small clearing on the right, 100m before the church and shortly after a steep dirt road on the left. Park. If a 4WD vehicle is available, it is possible to shorten the approach by 20 minutes by taking the dirt road to the picnic area where you can park.
Approach (2 h 30):
Take the dirt road on the left that climbs very steeply for about1.2km to a picnic area. Arrive near a grove and continue left, leaving the grove on the right. Descend to Vatos, about 800 m from the picnic area, and cross it to cross to the left bank. Continue uphill for 200 m until you reach a large tree on a plain. Continue straight, crossing the plain, and take a path with hairpin bends. Continue until you come across a first drainage basin at an altitude of 610 m. Go past it, fording the stream, and continue at altitude until you reach a second drainage basin. Pass this too and continue along a faint path for about 100 m, then go left and climb following the line of centuries-old trees until you reach a plain. Continue climbing, going diagonally towards the canyon, until you reach a steep grassy gully, which you climb in a zigzag fashion until you reach a saddle with some old fences. Go right and climb a little further until you come into view of Kousanda. Approach the stream, maintaining altitude until you reach a descending canal with centuries-old trees. Descend carefully to the riverbed (elevation 760).
Tour (6 h):
After an initial downclimb, which can be bypassed, there is a second one (20 m) to tackle on the right bank. A few descents follow until you reach a 20m long inclined plane, which you descend by rope. Continue along the right bank where there are rappel anchors, some natural, and passages for downclimbing, until you reach a landslide to overcome on the right bank. A small rappel on the left bank precedes a further landslide to be overcome on the right bank. This is followed by a 25 m high descent, which precedes a beautiful narrow section. We continue with a long series of rappels with an increase in flow due first tributary on the right and a second on the left. You arrive at the highest waterfall on the route (35 m) which, due to the play that the water forms, can be considered as a "bubbly massage". This is followed by a downclimb and a rappel that leads into the Vatos. You have to follow this stream for about 2 km, making three more rappels, until just over 500 m from the sea, on the right bank, a steep hiking trail begins.
Return (1 h 40):
Best way to return is on the boat with Nicholas.
If you want to walk: Take the hiking trail, about 3 km long and signed with red marks, which leads to the beach of PachiaAmmos through an often rugged path, with exposed sections and with a beautiful view of the sea. The first stretch, steeply uphill, leads to the most exposed section. A descent, very steep at times, followed by a climb leads to the pass from which you descend towards the beach and the parked vehicle.

Everything tip top. All rappels with Inox ring (always only 1 anchor, except for one high rappel, where there were 2 rings). We needed 3 hours for the access and 4.5 hours in the canyon.) One rappel on the tree. On the way back we treated ourselves to a boat. This is highly recommended, as otherwise it takes at least 1 hour to get to the 2nd car. The access is marked with blue dots, but prepare well so that you know roughly which direction you are walking in if you can't find the blue dots. A great canyon with over 30 rappels and 3 jumps (< 5 meters). A bit slippery at the moment, but not annoying. It is very beautiful when you can see the sea from many of the stands. Something special, not technically demanding, but a somewhat longer tour.
