Lower access: from Maccagno, follow the signs to Indemini and the state border along the SP5. After the Italian customs, the road crosses the Frigera stream; immediately afterward there is a large parking area on the right (46°05'38.8"N 08°48'57.5"E). Upper access: from the lower parking lot, head back towards Biegno. Just before entering the village, there are 2–3 parking spaces by a small valley on the right (46°05'08.2"N 08°49'00.8"E).

With shuttle: from Biegno, take the mule track to Cangili di Biegno. At the hairpin bend at 1050 m, follow the trail heading north, gradually entering Val Frigera. After crossing the Frigera stream, climb over a ridge until you reach the western branch of the Rii stream. Descend briefly on the left bank until you find the first rappel (46°05'52.8"N 08°48'44.2"E). About 40 minutes for 280 m of elevation gain. Without shuttle: from the lower parking area, walk down to Biegno along the paved road (1.3 km) and then follow the directions above.

After the final vertical, exit to the left before the confluence with the Frigera stream. Pass in front of some abandoned mountain huts and move towards the Crosa stream until you reach the ridge of the spur. Climb the entire ridge up to the paved road. Continue towards Biegno to return to the cars in a short time. About 20 minutes for 70 m of elevation gain.
