Summary:
It is a vertical canyon with a constant water flow, though reduced during the summer months. Despite the long and steep approach (about 1 hour 30 minutes), this is a beautiful, aesthetic, and technical canyon. The most interesting section starts at around 1200 m elevation and continues down to the valley floor; above that, there are other rappels of limited interest.

Access:
Park in the village of Fervento (VC) in Val Sermenza.
Approach (1 h 30):
Walk along the provincial road toward Rimasco, pass the hydroelectric plant on the Sermenza river, and after a few minutes, take the iron bridge on the left to cross the river. From there, follow trail 381 toward Alpe Chignolo. After about 1 hour of hiking, cross a small wooden bridge reinforced with supports over a minor stream, then continue the final 3 minutes uphill in the forest along the CAI trail. At a junction, trail 381 continues left toward Alpe Chignolo; for the canyon, keep right, following stone cairns. Continue contouring just below trail 381 without losing elevation for about 5 minutes through the forest, until you must climb slightly — keep right here (a short exposed section). From there, traverse gently left and start descending toward the stream through rough, steep terrain (about 40 m elevation loss).
Tour (3 h 30):
A technical canyon featuring 12 rappels, the highest being 50 m, with several linked rappels, handlines, and a couple of deviations. It is well equipped, mostly with chain anchors and rappel rings on the more complex pitches. The section leading to the 50 m rappel is the highlight — aesthetically striking and engaging. After the final 27 m rappel (with a high left-hand deviation and a difficult rope retrieval), continue along the streambed among boulders and slippery sections that should not be underestimated, until reaching a small bridge. Exit to the right here and walk about 5 minutes to return to the starting point. Warnings: > Rope friction inside the small grotto at the end of the third rappel (C32). > Rope retrieval issues on the fifth rappel (C28) due to vegetation that can snag the rope. > Friction at the very start of the sixth rappel (C30). > Jump immediately after the C50: shallow water, not recommended.

Return (10 min):

It is not easy to find the access point, fortunately there is a sign saying "canyoning" and then some ropes for a somewhat exposed passage...don't hold on to the ropes too much xche they are attached to saplings; last very steep piece we did with a rappel from a fir tree. The canyon is beautiful, a bit discontinuous but there are 2 nice waterfall sequences; the last rappel has a strong rub but we didn't see the diverter

2 nice sections with 2 long boulder walks... The 50 m relais is really beautiful, a bit slippery

*On gulliver complete informations* Beautiful hidden canyon in the wild sermenza valley, long walk and not so obvious access, there is a new indication "CANYONING" where you have to abandon the main path to reach the canyon. The descent is divided in 2 sections with 10 min. walk between... some nice and unespected aesthetic abseils, also a 50 m rappel. V4A2III, 4h + 1,15 h approach.
Hydrology:
The canyon carries a consistent water flow all year round.
