Summary:
Rather than a gorge, it is a steep slope of rock and vegetation, where the River Masetto has carved out a modest path. The setting is therefore sunny and open after the beautiful, stalactite-covered 75-metre waterfall. Currently (summer 2022), the gorge is equipped with basic (quick-fix) anchors; where possible, we have used trees. There is a double anchor point upstream of the 75-metre drop and on the Falesia waterfall. Take care with the challenging retrieval from the 75-metre drop! It is more rewarding when undertaken during periods of high water flow.
