Summary:
The Ogașu of Roșeț stream, also known as Cociului Valley, is a left tributary of the Cerna River, located in the central Mehedinți Mountains. On its way to the confluence point, it impressively plunges over two 90-meter limestone walls, giving the canyon a distinctly vertical character and a technical grade. Despite being one of the tallest waterfalls in Romania, the Cociu (Roșeț) Waterfall is unexpectedly little known.
