Das Wasser kommt aus der unterirdischen Höhle und nach 200 Metern fällt der Wasserfall "Fontanone Barman" in die Tiefe. Sehr schöne Aussicht ist von der Unterseite der Schlucht, wo Sie die Wasserfälle in all ihrer Mächtigkeit sehen. Die Wasserfälle sind sehr schön und sind mit grünem Moos umgeben. Um den Canyon zu besuchen ist ein sehr niedriger Wasserstand sehr wichtig, nur nach Trockenperioden oder im Winter möglich.

Rio Barman is better known as Fontanone Barman and is a major tourist attraction in Val Resia. The water flows from an underground cave, and after 200 meters, the “Fontanone Barman” waterfall plunges into the depth. There is a very beautiful view from the bottom of the canyon, where you can see the waterfalls in all their majesty. The waterfalls are stunning and surrounded by green moss. To visit the canyon, a very low water level is essential; this is only possible after dry spells or in winter.

Im Kanaltal in der Ortschaft Resiutta in das Resiatal einbiegen. 13min und ca 10km bis zur kleinen Ortschaft Lischiazze, kurz danach kommt (L) der große Parkplatz (20 Autos) für den Fontanone Barman.

In the Kanaltal valley, in the village of Resiutta, turn into the Resia Valley. It’s a 13-minute drive and about 10 km to the small village of Lischiazze; shortly after that (L), you’ll come to the large parking lot (20 cars) for the Fontanone Barman.

Vom Parkplatz den markierten Weg 703 nehmen. Nicht über den Bach sondern weiter den Weg 762 Steil , 200Hm, in Serpentinen den Wald hoch. Teilweise bei der Wegfindung aufpassen, es ist aber immer wieder markiert. Oben wo es eben wird auf ca 870m Seehöhe links abbiegen, Steinmann bei der Kreuzung. Den Pfad folgen, teilweise Holzstufen, mal mit mal ohne Makierung sollte der Weg schon gefunden werden.

From the parking lot, take the marked Trail 703. Do not cross the stream; instead, continue on Trail 762—a steep, 200-meter elevation gain—up through the forest on switchbacks. Be careful in some places when finding your way, but the trail is marked throughout. At the top, where the trail levels off at about 870 meters above sea level, turn left at the cairn at the intersection. Follow the path—which includes some wooden steps and is marked intermittently—and you should be able to find the trail.

Die Anker und Ketten der Tour sind alt aber noch relativ gut. Eine Bohrmaschine ist trotzdem kein Fehler. The anchors and chains on this route are old but still in relatively good condition. It’s still a good idea to bring a drill, though. C 28m: 2 x bolts with chains, large boulder, (L) In the “Pool” section (L), there’s a bolt for belaying to reach the next belay station. C 25m: 2 x bolts with chains (L) C 32m: 2 x bolts with chains (R) C 20m: 2 x bolts with chains (L) C 20m: 2 x bolts with chains (R), slightly below that 2 x single bolts

100m nach dem letzten Becken links raus, den Touristenweg kann man nicht übersehen. 10min bis zum Auto.

Turn left 100 meters past the last pool; you can't miss the tourist trail. It's a 10-minute walk back to the car.
