Von Gap auf der N85 - "Route Napoleon" - Richtung Grenoble (nordwärts). Nach gut 15 km biegen wir rechts ab auf die D23, fahren durch Saint-Bonnet-en-Champsaur und kommen etwa 8 km nach dieser Abzweigung zu den Häusern des Weilers La Motte-en-Champsaur. Weiter geht es von hier nach Molines-en-Champsaur. Nach den Häusern stellen wir unser Auto rechts der Straße ab, weil die Weiterfahrt hier nicht mehr gestattet ist.

From Gap on the N85 - "Route Napoleon" - in the direction of Grenoble (northwards). After a good 15 km, turn right onto the D23, drive through Saint-Bonnet-en-Champsaur and about 8 km after this turn-off you will come to the houses in the hamlet of La Motte-en-Champsaur. Continue from here to Molines-en-Champsaur. After the houses, we park our car on the right-hand side of the road, as it is no longer permitted to continue here.

Wir folgen nun der Piste zu Fuß etwa 35 Min. (alternativ auch mit (E-)Bike machbar). Dann folgen wir dem Wegweiser "Jas de Jartier". Wir steigen in Serpentinen an, auf fast 1500m Höhe läuft ein Wanderweg von links zu. Im weiteren Anstieg verzweigt sich der Weg (1580m Höhe), wir bleiben links. Auf etwas über 1800m Höhe - wir können inzwischen die Hütten von Jas de Jartier und die Wasserfälle des Colombier sehen - verlassen wir den Weg und queren in das Bachbett oberhalb der Wasserfälle hinein.

We now follow the slope on foot for about 35 minutes (alternatively also possible by (e-)bike). Then we follow the signpost "Jas de Jartier". We ascend in serpentines, at an altitude of almost 1500m, a hiking trail walks in from the left. Further up, the path branches off (1580m altitude), we stay left. At an altitude of just over 1800m - we can now see the huts of Jas de Jartier and the Colombier waterfalls - we leave the path and cross into the streambed above the waterfalls.

Zuerst einige kleinere Stufen, teilweise rutschbar. Dann etwa 20 Abseiler, zuerst in relativ offenem Gelände, später dann stärker eingeschluchtet. Die Tour endet, wenn wir linkerhand die Piste sehen.

First some smaller steps, some of which are slippery. Then about 20 rappels, first in relatively open terrain, later more indented. The tour exits when we see the slope on the left.
