Take the motorway from Huesca to Barbastro and, at junction 77, head towards Abiego/Alquézar. On reaching Abiego, turn off towards Adahuesca and from there continue to Alquézar.Ì From the Barbastro side, take the A1232, following the River Vero upstream almost as far as Alquézar. Shortly before reaching Alquézar, turn off towards Colungo and continue along this road towards Lecina; at kilometre marker 16.5, you’ll find the Vero car park on the left. If you want to hike the Vero, you can organise a carpool.

We set off along the Vero, just below the mill, and followed it upstream in search of the access path
