Access:
A very long shuttle is required to park cars upstream and downstream. The canyoning route has two accesses: a) directly from the Rio Zagarone stream (not recommended as the initial section is heavily vegetated); b) from the Madonna dei Grienzi. Option b) involves accessing a slow-flowing stream. After the first five abseils, you reach the confluence with the Rio Zagarone, where the gorge becomes aquatic and fun.

Approach (20 min):

Tour (5 h):
The length of the gorge should not be underestimated in conditions of considerable flow. Some abseils have been equipped with anchors to avoid interfering with the flow of the water. After the Madonna del Fiume (not visible from the gorge), you tackle the last abseil (you will notice some strange steel anchors). The valley is still quite steep, and you need to continue along the riverbed with some downclimbing and small abseils.
Return (45 min):
Then leave it for a track on the left bank that gradually becomes a clear path. Continue until just after the Tuorno waterfalls. From there, after crossing the bridge, follow the dirt road that bends to the right. At the end of the short climb, you will find the car parked downstream.
