Walk in: From the car park, follow the large track up river, you’ll be able to see the river for the majority of the track. When the path levels out you’ll reach a gate which you need to go through then turn left and head through the flood swing gate and directly across the hill towards the top of A1 (seen from the gate) Easy access to the top of A1. Descent Rigged for high and low flow, different options for descent, most sections can be avoided, Lower section is more committing and harder to escape.

Exit After the choke stone the river flattens out and leaves you with some quality gorge walking, when you reach the wall crossing the river exit TL and you will find a gate to get you back on track.
