Am Ortseingang von Puerto de la Selva (El Port de la Selva) nehmen Sie die Straße GI-613, die nach Cadaqués hinaufführt. Kurz vor dem Kreisverkehr, der die GI-613 mit der GI-614 verbindet, kann man die Schlucht von der Straße aus sehen. Parken Sie nach einer Kurve in einem felsigen Gebiet am Straßenrand. Es ist der erste Weg rechts nach dem Restaurant Els Pins. Nach 5 Minuten erreicht man eine Weggabelung, an der ein sehr altes Auto geparkt ist! Parken Sie daneben.

Abseilmanöver (auf einer leicht treppenartigen Steigung) dem Flusslauf etwa 15 Minuten lang folgen (einige flache Flussläufe und ein 2 m hoher Wasserfall mit einem Einpunkt-Sicherungssystem), bis Sie einen Nebenfluss auf der rechten Seite erreichen. Nehmen Sie hier einen Weg, der immer auf der rechten Seite des Flusses entlangführt. Keine Ausweichmöglichkeit auf der ersten Abfolge, offensichtlicher Ausstieg danach in den Hängen. Die Riera de Romanyac ist ein Küstenfluss, dessen Mündung sich inmitten des großen Strandes von Port de la Selva befindet und meist vollständig ausgetrocknet ist. Im Sommer trocken begehbar, verwandelt er sich bei starkem Regen im Frühjahr in ein kleines Wunderwerk.
