Direkt, 1Km nach dem Ortsende (Ortstafel) Log Pod Mangartom (vom Predilpass kommend) gibt es auf der re Seite vor der Steinbrücke eine Ausweiche mit einem Wanderparkplatz. Hier parken.
Directly, 1Km after the end of the village (place name sign) Log Pod Mangartom (coming from Predil Pass) there is a turnout with a parking place for hikers on the right side before the stone bridge. Park here.

Vom Parkplatz aus zu Fuß auf der Straße ein kurzes Stück zurück bis zum Fahrverbotsschild. Hier direkt in den Bach absteigen. In kürze trifft man auf eine Wehranlage (Einstieg auf ca. 590m).
approx. 5min From the parking lot, walk a short distance back on the road until you reach the no-driving sign. Descend directly into the stream. In a short time you will come to a weir (entry at approx. 590m).

Nach der kleinen Abkletterstufe bei der Wehanlage und kurzer Gehstrecke verengt sich die Schlucht und man kommt auch gleich ins Schwärmen... Schöne Auswaschungen und das türkisblaue Wasser in den Gumpen sind ein Augenschmaus. Die kleinen Stufen und Abbrüche in der Engklamm können im Normalfall gesprungen oder abgeklettert werden (mehrere Sprungmöglichkeiten). Einzellbohrhaken sind an einigen Stufen jedoch vorhanden. Kaum ist man so richtig in Fahrt endet die Tour auch schon wieder. An der Stelle wo sich die Schlucht öffnet sieht man auf der orographisch li Seite eine Eisenleiter die aus dem Bach führt (oben scharfkantig!).
approx. 40min After the small step at the weir and a short walking passages the canyon narrows down and you start to enjoy it... Beautiful washouts and the turquoise water in the pools are a feast for the eyes. The small steps and precipices in the gorge can normally be jumped or downclimbed (several possible jumps). Single pitons are present on some steps, however. As soon as you get going, the tour ends. At the point where the canyon opens, you can see an iron ladder on the orographic left side that leads out of the stream (sharp-edged at the top!).

Von der Eisenleiter geht man in Richtung der Kraftwerkshäuser und mittig durch. Dann den sichtbaren Wanderweg auf der orographisch li Schluchtenseite zurück bis zum Parkplatz folgen.

Koritnica ist eine wunderschöne Schlucht in Slowenien. Der Canyon ist tief eingeschnitten und Felsen und Wasser haben bezaubernde Farben. Unter Profils dauert eine Canyoning Tour hier nicht lange, Anfängern wird schnell kalt und geraten an einigen Stellen womöglich an Ihre Grenzen. Gleich am Anfang, direkt bei der ersten Abseilstelle, sind Wildwassererfahrungen hilfreich. Direkt unten angekommen muss man das Wildwasser kreuzen, um den Pool zu verlassen. Eigentlich kein Problem, aber im Zweifel hilft es, wenn der erste einen Wurfsack dabei hat. Es gibt noch einen sehr schönen Sprung und kurz vor dem Ende wir es noch einmal technisch etwas anspruchsvoller: Mittels Klem-und-Stemmtechnik oberhalb von Wildwasser ein paar Meter Langhangeln. Koritnica is a beautiful canyon in Slovenia. The canyon is cut to a depth and the rocks and water have enchanting colors. A canyoning tour here doesn't take long under professional conditions, beginners quickly get cold and may reach their limits in some places. Right at the beginning, directly at the first abseiling point, white water experience is helpful. Once you reach the bottom, you have to cross the white water to leave the pool. Not really a problem, but if in doubt, it helps if the first person has a throw bag with them. There is another very nice jump and shortly before the exit, it gets a little more technically challenging: a few meters of long shimmying using the cling and stem technique above the white water.
