Summary:

The water springing from Izbucul Galbenei, one of the largest resurgences in the Bihor mountains, draining the waters of the Cetățile Ponorului karst complex and the Zăpodie System, has created the spectacular Galbena Canyon and Gorges. The Galbena Gorges are accessible to tourists without specialized equipment. Galbena Canyon features 8 waterfalls and drops characteristic of karst areas.
