Von Masera aus nehmen Sie die 5533 in Richtung Simplonpass und fahren bei Crodo ab. Fahren Sie das Antigorio-Tal hinauf, durchqueren Baceno und Primia und fahren weiter in Richtung Val Formazza. Parken Sie Ihr Auto unmittelbar nach dem Dorf Passo in der Nähe der letzten Häuser, unweit einer Fußgängerbrücke über den Fluss Toce.

From Masera, take the 5533 towards the Simplon Pass and exit at Crodo. Drive up the Antigorio valley, cross Baceno and Primia and continue in the direction of Val Formazza. Park your car just after the village of Passo near the last houses, not far from a footbridge over the river Toce.

Überqueren Sie die Brücke über den Toce vor dem Parkplatz und gehen Sie links weiter, bis Sie die Straße zur Mine erreichen, der Sie nach rechts bergauf folgen. Weiter geht es halbhorizontal, bis der Weg deutlich anzusteigen beginnt. An dieser Stelle, von der aus man bereits das Tal der Hauptschlucht sehen kann, verlässt man den Weg und geht horizontal auf einem Felsvorsprung mit einigen ausgesetzten Abschnitten weiter, bis man das Flussbett erreicht. Der erste Felshang muss hinabgeklettert werden.

Cross the bridge over the Toce before the parking lot and continue left until you reach the road to the mine, which you follow uphill to the right. As soon as you reach the first buildings of the mine, turn left onto a marked path (red color) that leads up into the forest. After a long, steep climb, the path turns sharply to the right and runs horizontally over a rocky outcrop until you cross a stream. The path continues semi-horizontally until it begins to ascend significantly. At this point, from which you can already see the valley of the main gorge, you leave the path and continue horizontally on a ledge with some exposed parts until you reach the riverbed. The first rocky slope must be climbed down.

VORSICHT: An Arbeitstagen kann es in der nahe gelegenen Mine zu starken Explosionen kommen, die zwar störend, aber nicht gefährlich sind.
