Just outside the village of Cozzo (Val Colla), it is possible to park in a small lot right next to the stream (46°05'48.15"N 09°03'50.07"E).

Kurz vor dem Dorf Cozzo (Val Colla) kann man auf einem kleinen Parkplatz direkt am Bach parken (46°05'48.15 "N 09°03'50.07 "E).

From the parking lot, head towards the village along the paved road and locate, among the first houses on the right, the trail to Mount Gazzirola. The trail climbs steeply up to Alpe Cucchetto. After the last hut, at around 1280 m, spot on the right the trace of an old path that first ascends through the forest and then enters the valley (not to be confused with the trail that crosses the valley on flat ground through a meadow). After passing a hunting hide and a first stream, the trail ends at a viewpoint on sheer rocks above Cugnolo Corto. Before reaching the viewpoint, climb along animal tracks in the forest to reach the ridge. Following animal tracks, enter the valley with a gentle ascent until reaching the stream at 1400 m, at the confluence of Cugnolo Corto and Torrente Lavinelli (46°06'14"N 09°04'06.79"E). About 1 h 30 min for 400 m of elevation gain.

Vom Parkplatz aus geht man auf der asphaltierten Straße in Richtung Dorf und findet zwischen den ersten Häusern auf der rechten Seite den Weg zum Monte Gazzirola. Der Weg steigt steil bis zur Alpe Cucchetto an. Nach der letzten Hütte, auf ca. 1280 m, erkennt man rechts die Spur eines alten Weges, der zuerst durch den Wald aufsteigt und dann ins Tal führt (nicht zu verwechseln mit dem Weg, der das Tal auf ebener Fläche über eine Wiese quert). Vorbei an einer Jagdhütte und einem ersten Bach endet der Weg an einem Aussichtspunkt auf steilen Felsen oberhalb von Cugnolo Corto. Bevor man den Aussichtspunkt erreicht, steigt man entlang von Tierspuren im Wald auf, um den Kamm zu erreichen. Den Tierspuren folgend geht es leicht ansteigend ins Tal bis zum Bach auf 1400 m, am Zusammenfluss von Cugnolo Corto und Torrente Lavinelli (46°06'14 "N 09°04'06.79 "E). Etwa 1 h 30 min für 400 m Höhenunterschied.

Upon reaching the confluence at 1135 m, look for traces on the right bank that allow you to climb back to the access trail and return quickly to the cars. About 15 minutes, 50 m ascent and 160 m descent.
