Access:
From Bognanco, reach the hamlet of Bognanco and park in one of the few available spaces.
Approach (3 h):
From Pizzanco, hike up to Alpe Vallare and traverse to Alpe Campo. Descend to an elevation of 1,800 meters before entering the stream.
Tour (2 h):
The canyon wasn't as impressive as we expected. The rock isn't the same as in the nearby Rasiga and Dagliano canyons; it's a type of schist that is less sculpted, with more surface runoff and generally shallower pools. We bolted 10 rappels, max 30 meters.
Return (1 h 30):
After the last waterfall and the confluence, climb up the slope on the right to reach the valley-bottom trail. Descend to Ponte di Pianezza and then traverse towards Pizzanco.
