In Cilaos im gleichnamigen Cirque (Kessel) stellen wir unser Auto für den Ausstieg dort ab, wo der Verbindungsweg von dem Weiler Ilet à Cördes vom Tal des Bras Rouge heraufkommt. Von Cilaos nehmen wir dann mit dem 2. Autödie D 242 über Ilet Dijoux und weiter in Richtung Ilet à Cordes. Nach 4,1 km queren wir den Bras Rouges und nach etwa indgesamt 7 km (von Cilaos/Verzweigung D241/D242) kommen wir zur Brücke über den Fleurs Jaunes. Hier Auto abstellen.

In Cilaos, in the Cirque (basin) of the same name, we park our car for the exit where the connecting path from the hamlet of Ilet à Cördes comes up from the Bras Rouge valley. Highlight sind die 2 längeren Rinnen am Ende der hier beschriebenen Tour, beginnend mit der C55, die inzwischen auch gebrochen werden kann. Nach den erwähnten 3 aufeinanderfolgender Abseilern (55 m, 35 m, 20 m) klettern wir über Blöcke noch einige Meter abwärts. Während des Abstiegs eröffnen sich stetig Ausblicke in die beeindruckende Landschaft. Dann geht ein möglicher Ausstieg durch eine steile Rinne hinauf ('Jacomedie') zu den Felsen von Marmailles und von hier über einen Bergrücken hinauf zum Aussichtpunkt an der Straße. Von auf der Straße in westlicher Richtung zurück zum Auto. Die Integralbegehung führt uns etwa 850m oder 1 Stunde am linken Bachranf abwärts bis zu den "dalles",, das sind Gumpen einer größeren und fast ebenen Granitfläche vor Erreichen des Bras Rouge. Zu diesem geht es nun etwa 100 Höhenmeter fast senkrecht hinunter. Unten angekommen erwartet uns die düstere "Chapelle" am Ende der Tour. Alternativ kann man direkt in die Chapelle durch den gespaltenen Block abseilen, benötigt jedoch dann mindestens 1x100m Seil + 1x60m + 1x40m, siehe topo.
