Richtung Corada den Wanderweg nehmen und dort links abbiegen. Bei der Kapelle vorbei in die Steile Südwand von dem Giumaglio Canyon. Das meiste von dem Zustieg ist dadurch im Schatten. Bei Vassascia di Sopra links abbiegen und weiter dem Ausgesetzten Weg bis hin zum Start von Coglio folgen.

Take the hiking trail toward Corada and turn left there. Pass the chapel and head into the steep south face of the Giumaglio Canyon. This means most of the access is in the shade. Turn left at Vassascia di Sopra and continue along the exposed trail to the start of Coglio.

Entweder man geht bei der Brücke raus, oder man nimmt den letzten schönen Teil auch noch mit, muss dann aber durch den See schwimmen, und orographisch rechts zur Staumauer hoch. Am besten direkt an der Mauer wo ein Kabel ist. Danach geht man alles den Wanderweg runter, oder macht noch mit Giumaglio inf. weiter. Es wird nicht empfohlen direkt in Giumaglio inf zu gehen, sondern via dem Weiler Confrèè, und von dort den Weg runter zum Bach nehmen.

You can either exit at the bridge, or you can take in the last beautiful stretch as well—but then you’ll have to swim across the lake and climb up to the dam on the orographic right. It’s best to stay right next to the wall where there’s a cable. After that, you can either follow the hiking trail all the way down or continue on to Giumaglio inferiore. It’s not recommended to go directly to Giumaglio inferiore; instead, head via the hamlet of Confrèè and from there take the path down to the stream.

Mittleres Einzugsgebiet, geht meistens zum begehen. Schwierig den Wasserstand einzusehen. Wenn die Messstelle Pincascia auf 1 Kubik ist, sollte Coglio langsam sportlich werden, aber mit Bedacht diese Angabe wahrnehmen, die zwei Einzugsgebiete liegen ja nicht im gleichen Tal.

Medium-sized watershed; usually passable on foot. It’s difficult to gauge the water level. If the Pincascia gauge reads 1 cubic, Coglio should start to get a bit challenging, but take this information with a grain of salt—after all, the two watersheds aren’t in the same valley.
