Von Bad Tölz auf der B 13 über Lenggries zum Sylvensteinspeicher. Nach links über die Dammkrone und auf der B 307, bis man auf die von Tegernsee über Kreuth kommenden Ast der B307 trifft (bis hierher 29 km). Hier nun rechts passieren wir nach wenigen hundert Metern die alte Grenzstation und kommen 1,7 km danach zum Gasthof "Hagen", der nördlich der Straße liegt. Wir queren noch den Walchen und biegen nach der Brücke rechts ab in Richtung einer Kapelle. Dort können wir auf einem Wanderparkplatz unser Auto abstellen. Sofern wir vom Inntal herauf kommen, passieren wir auf der B 181 den Achensee und Achenkirch. 6,8 km nach Achenkirch erreichen wir das oben angegebene Ziel.
From Bad Tölz on the B 13 via Lenggries to the Sylvenstein reservoir. Turn left over the top of the dam and continue on the B 307 until you reach the branch of the B307 coming from Tegernsee via Kreuth (29 km to this point). After a few hundred meters we pass the old border station on the right and after 1.7 km we come to the "Hagen" inn, which is located north of the road. We cross the Walchen and turn right after the bridge towards a chapel. There we can park our car in a parking lot for hikers. If we are coming up from the Inn Valley, we pass the Achensee and Achenkirch on the B 181. 6.8 km after Achenkirch we reach the destination indicated above.

Unmittelbar nach der Brücke geht es auf undeutlichen Spuren rechts hinunter zum Bach.
We take the forest road that starts at the chapel and goes up in a southwesterly direction ("Rotwandalm"). After 450 m we pass a track that branches off to the left, keep straight on. After another 650 m we come to another fork and stay right here. A little later we come to the bridge over the Taschbach. Immediately after the bridge, we go down to the right on indistinct tracks to the stream.
