Von Funchal auf der ER-103 über Monte zum Col de Poiso und jenseits hinab. Ungefähr 2,4 km nach dem Col geht links in spitzem Wikel eine Forstpiste ab;rechts auf der Straßenverbreiterung (32.723614,-16.889656) kann das obere Auto abgestellte werden. Das untere Auto stellt man beim Forsthaus (mit Fischzucht) am Rand des Weilers Ribeiro Frio ab (32.733585,-16.887082). Diesen erreicht man, wenn man vom oberen Parkplatz auf der ER-103 ca. 2 km weiter bergab in Richtung Faial fährt.
From Funchal on the ER-103 over Monte to the Col de Poiso and beyond down. About 2.4 km after the col, a forestry track turns off to the left in a sharp bend; the upper car can be parked on the right on the road widening (32.723614,-16.889656). The lower car can be left at the forester's house (with fish farm) on the edge of the hamlet of Ribeiro Frio (32.733585,-16.887082). This can be reached by driving downhill from the upper parking lot on the ER-103 for about 2 km in the direction of Faial.
