We leave the A64 - La Pyrénéenne - at Lannemezan and head south on the D929 to Arreau and on to St.-Lary-Soulan. We then head towards the Bielsa tunnel. 1.3 km after the hamlet of Aragnuet and immediately after the houses of Chaubère (on the right of the road), we come to the bridge over the Neste de Saux. After the bridge, we can park our car on the left of the road for the exit. We then continue in the second car and see the Chapelle des Templiers on the meadows below on the right. The road then climbs in serpentines. 2.6 km after the bridge over the Neste de Saux, we turn left and park our car for access at the little house. A little above, we can see the old border station on the French side to the right of the road.

Par contre, dans la 2ème partie, un point du relais de la 2ème cascade était bien amoché. Nous avons mis une sangle pour relier deux points en bon état (assez éloignés malgré tout) et installer une MC en fixe afin de faciliter l'accès à ce relais. Equipement à améliorer certainement mais cela nous a permis de continuer en sécurité. Les MC en place dans cette partie seraient à changer.
