Von Locarno fährt man ins schöne Maggia Tal --> auf der Bundesstraße fährt man durch mehrere kleine Ortschaften (Achtung Radarkontrollen!), bis man zur Ortschaft Someo kommt. In der Ortschaft Riveo die erste richtige Straße "la Geira" nach links abbiegen. Am Ende der Straße parkieren (mit dem 4x4 kann man theoretisch auch durch die Maggia fahren).

From Locarno, drive into the beautiful Maggia Valley --> take the main road through several small villages (watch out for speed cameras!) until you reach the village of Someo. In the village of Riveo, take the first real road "la Geira" to the left. Park at the exit of the road (theoretically you can also drive through the Maggia with a 4x4).

Vom Parkplatz durch die Maggia nach links dem Weg folgen. Am Hang halten dann dem Wegweiser Richtung Alzasca Hütte folgen und dem Weg folgen bis zur Brücke. Hier ist der Einstieg, vorher von dort zur Wasserfassung aufsteigen und Wasserstand prüfen. Nicht einsteigen, wenn das Wasser schon überläuft oder der Ablauf verstopft ist.

From the parking lot, follow the path to the left through the Maggia. Keep to the slope, then follow the signpost to the Alzasca hut and follow the path to the bridge. This is the entry point, climb up to the water intake and check the water level. Do not enter if the water is already overflowing or the drain is blocked.

Aus dem Bach links aussteigen dem Pfad folgen durch den Fluss zurück zum Auto.

Exit the stream on the left and follow the path through the stream back to the car.
