Von Reutte Richtung Süden ins hintere Lechtal bis Steeg fahren und dann weiter in Richtung Warth. Nach der Beschilderung Prenten führt die Straße leicht bergauf über eine Brücke die über den Lech führt. Gleich nach der Brücke parkt man das Auto vor einer Holzscheune (hinter der Scheune ist auch ein großer Schotterparkplatz (jedoch privat).

From Reutte head south into the rear Lechtal valley as far as Steeg and then continue towards Warth. After the signs for Prenten, the road leads slightly uphill over a bridge that crosses the Lech. Immediately after the bridge, park your car in front of a wooden barn (there is also a large gravel parking place behind the barn (but private).

Hinter der Scheune (Schotterparkplatz) folgt man der Forststraße rechts abwärts bis zur ersten Kehre (hier kommt auch der Pfad vom Ausstieg rechts hoch). Man geht hier den linken Pfad (Weg 432) bis zum Jägerstand hoch. Folgt man ca. 10 Meter unterhalb des Jägerstands bei der Gabelung den rechten Pfad, kommt man zum unteren Teil der Schlucht. Nach kurzer Gehstrecke beginnt ein Seilgeländer. Hier wird der Pfad abschüssiger. Es folgt ein ca. 20 Meter Fixseil zum abseilen oder abklettern. Weiter mit mit Seilgeländer bis zu einem Kettenstand R7. Von diesem seilt man in den Bachlauf.

Behind the barn (gravel parking place), follow the forest road to the right downhill until you reach the first haipin bend (this is also where the trail from the exit comes up on the right). Take the left path here (Trail 432) up to the hunting blind. If you take the right path at the fork about 10 meters below the hunting blind, you’ll reach the lower part of the canyon. After a short walking passage, a rope traverse begins. Here, the trail becomes steeper. This is followed by an approx. 20-meter fixed rope section for rappelling or downclimbing. Continue along the rope traverse to a chain anchor (R7). From here, rappel down into the stream bed.

Die Tour beginnt mit Stand (Plakette 6) orografisch links oder rechts. Jeweils mit Seilgeländern erreichbar. An jedem der folgenden Stände hat man wahlweise die Möglichkeit orographisch links oder rechts abzuseilen und somit die Option auf trocken oder nass Abseiler. Die Schlucht ist hier sehr kontinuierlich bis zum letzten Abseiler. Ab da an folgt noch eine kleine Bachwanderung mit kleinen Stufen. Diese sind häufig zugekiest und ermöglichen nur ein Abklettern. Eine noch folgende 5 Meter Stufe kann orographisch links mit einer Baumschlinge abgeklettert werden. Um den Fischereiverband nicht zu ärgern endet die Tour auf ca. 1140m vor der letzten 6m Stufe in den Lech.

The tour begins at belay station (marker 6), either on the orographic left or right. Both are accessible via rope traverses. At each of the following belay stations, you have the choice of rappelling down the orographic left or right, giving you the option of a dry or wet rappel. The canyon is very continuous here all the way to the last rappel point. From there, there’s a short river walk with small steps. These are often covered with gravel and can only be downclimbed. A subsequent 5-meter step can be downclimbed on the orographic left using a tree sling. To avoid upsetting the fishing association, the tour exits at approximately 1,140 meters, before the final 6-meter step into the Lech.

Vor der letzten Stufe (in den Lech) steigt man auf ca. 1140m (wegen Fischerei) rechts aus der Schlucht aus. Hier folgt man den kleinen Pfad über den Rücken hoch bis zur Forststraße bei der Kehre und dieser zurück zum Parkplatz.

Before the last step (into the Lech), exit the canyon to the right at approx. 1140m (due to fishing). Follow the small path over the ridge up to the forest road at the hairpin bend and follow it back to the parking lot.
