Csak a legalsó rövid, szép, szűk és folytonos szakaszon túráztunk, kb.: 550 m magasságtól. Idáig a megközelítési nyom jól kitaposott és világos. Ezen a részen összesen csak 6 db. kötélereszkedés található, köztük a látványos 30 m-es is, ami egy szűk folyosóból indul. Megközelítés 30 perc, kanyon 1 óra volt.
We hiked only the lowest section—a short, beautiful, narrow, and continuous stretch—starting at an elevation of approximately 550 m. Up to this point, the approach trail is well-trodden and clearly marked. In this section, there are only 6 rope descents in total, including the spectacular 30-meter one that starts from a narrow corridor. The approach took 30 minutes, and the canyon hike took 1 hour.

Sind am Ende des oberen Teils eingestiegen. 1. Sprung (S8) im unteren Teil nicht machbar, dafür neues Fixsei auf der linken Seite ((wo der Baum drinliegt) vorhanden, Von dort Sprung möglich. Rutsche am Ende immer noch nicht möglich. Ansonsten einiges im unteren Teil springbar und ein paar kleinere Höhlen erkundbar, die sonst voller Wasser sind. Das Stahlseil bei der letzten Rutsche (aktuell nur Sprung) sah nicht (oder nicht mehr) gefährlich aus.
We entered at the exit of the upper section. The first jump (S8) in the lower section isn’t doable, but there’s a new fixed rope on the left side (where the tree is), and a jump is possible from there. The slide at the exit is still not possible. Otherwise, there are several jumpable spots in the lower section and a few smaller caves to explore that are usually full of water. The steel cable at the last slide (currently only a jump) didn’t look (or no longer looked) dangerous.

Das war in unseren 3 wöchigen Ferien die schlechteste Canyoningtour. Die Hälfte der Höhenmeter in der Schlucht muss man über Blöcke abklettern/bachwandern. Auch die Wanderung zur Schlucht war langweilig im düsteren Wald. Wenn man genügend Zeit hat, kann man die Schlucht machen... einige schöne Stellen hat sie schon. Auch empfehlen wir den Einstieg auf 1290müM (normaler Wanderweg).
That was the worst canyoning tour of our three-week vacation. You have to downclimb boulders or hike along the stream for half of the elevation gain in the canyon. The hike to the canyon was also boring through the gloomy forest. If you have enough time, you can do the canyon... it does have some nice spots. We also recommend the entry at 1,290 meters above sea level (regular hiking trail).

Es hat sehr viel Holz im Canyon. Dadurch kann man aber auch viel klettern, was sonst nur mit abseilen gehen würde.
There's a lot of wood in the canyon. But that also means there are plenty of opportunities to climb, which otherwise would only be possible by rappelling.

Nach der Quellenschlucht sind wir nochmal kurz zum letzten hohen Wasserfall vom Wasserfallweg aufgestiegen um uns den unteren Teil der Tour anzuschauen. Mindestens drei gut ausgestattete (vermutlich von Eiskletterern) Wasserfälle mit Blick ins Tal. Als eigenständige Tour nicht lohnend, im Anschluss an den eigentlichen Wasserfallweg aber ein guter Ausklang.
After the Spring Gorge, we climbed back up briefly to the last tall waterfall on the Waterfall Trail to take a look at the lower part of the hike. At least three well-equipped waterfalls (presumably by ice climbers) with views down into the valley. Not worth doing as a standalone hike, but a nice way to wrap up the main Waterfall Trail.

Endlich ist sich diese Tour mal ausgegangen. Alpine Abseilschlucht in wilder Umgebung. Oben nur ganz wenig Wasser und sonnige Plattenabseiler, ab der namensgebenden Quelle dann etwas mehr Wasser. Nach dem schönen 50m Wasserfall (vom Parkplatz aus sichtbar) folgt leider eine mühsame 10-15min Abkletterpassage bevor die Schlucht nochmal kurz felsig wird. Wir haben eine alte Reebschnurschlinge ersetzt und zwei Haken neu gebohrt. Der Rest war noch in überraschend guten Zustand (Klebe- und Expansionshaken, teilweise mit Kette)
I finally got to do this tour. An alpine abseiling gorge in a wild setting. Very little water at the top and sunny slab rappels; a bit more water starting from the spring that gives the canyon its name. After the beautiful 50-meter waterfall (visible from the parking lot), there’s unfortunately a tedious 10–15-minute downclimb before the canyon briefly becomes rocky again. We replaced an old Reebschnur sling and drilled two new anchors. The rest was still in surprisingly good condition (adhesive and expansion anchors, some with chains).
