Begangen im Rahmen des RIC Portugal 2026 in Arouca: Gabi, Rille, Elke, Michael, wolfgang. Viel Betrieb, aber keine Staus an den Ständen. Ausstieg über das Gelände der Sekte (?) war erlaubt, Stahltüre stand offen. Parkmöglichkeiten ziemlich ausgereizt.

Held as part of RIC Portugal 2026 in Arouca: Gabi, Rille, Elke, Michael, Wolfgang. Lots of activity, but no crowds at the booths. We were allowed to exit through the “Sekte” (?) grounds; the steel door was open. Parking was pretty much full.

Beim ersten Sprung Rutschgefahr am Absprung. Relativ angenehmes Geläuf im Bachbett. Achtung auf die bei den Fotos erwähnte scharfe Kante. Bei dem etwas verschachtelten Weg durch den Untergrung war uns der Guide der vor uns laufenden Gruppe hehilflich und ging deshalb extra zu uns zurück. Ihm ein großes Dankeschön!

On the first jump, watch out for slippery conditions at the takeoff point. The terrain in the streambed is relatively easy to navigate. Watch out for the sharp edge mentioned in the photos. On the somewhat winding path through the Untergrung, the guide from the group ahead of us was helpful and even came back to assist us. A big thank you to him!

Nun, rund 20 Jahre nach meiner ersten Begehung anno 2007 (siehe Fotos u. Video) meine zweite Tour im Fecha. Zustieg wieder auf die bequeme Art mit teilweiser Autoumsetzung (von mir beschrieben in https://www.descente-canyon.com/canyoning/canyon-description/21558/topo.html). Tour problemlos. Beim Ausstieg über den Fluß hinauf zur Straße nach Portugal. Sofortiger Erfolg beim Trampen. Unterkunft in Lobios.

Well, about 20 years after my first ascent back in 2007 (see photos and video), here’s my second trip to Fecha. The access was again the easy way, with a partial shuttle (as I described at https://www.descente-canyon.com/canyoning/canyon-description/21558/topographic view.html). The tour went smoothly. Exit over the river up to the road to Portugal. Immediate success hitchhiking. Accommodation in Lobios.
