Parked on the big parking on the bridge close to the exit and taken the path on the other side of the bridge, direction to Rifugio Buzzoni, a few times crossing the forest (access restricted and not in good conditions) and shortly after the second time reaching Baite Serra where you can enter. Season begin and medium/high flow, anyway not being a problem for any passage. Upper part joyful with many pools, toboggans and little jumps with cristal clear and cold water. Than a medium pitch leading to the 50m, having a deviation on -8m technical to reach cause slippery. After a wood pedestrian bridge another section starts, more discontinuous but with a beautiful long section all carved in rock and with many nice passages and pools. Only pity is wood around in many pools, some technical downclimbs cause missing anchors and many fixed ropes in place which are in very bad conditions and not to be trusted; for sure an emergency bolting equipment is recommended cause some passages can change or become impracticable with wood.. Lastly a little walk towards the flood protection wall where getting the path leading back to the town and bridge parking.

Bel torrente, semplice e intuitivo ma super scivoloso! C’era un bel po’ di acqua e data la scivolosità non siamo riusciti a raggiungere gli armi più comodi e nuovi. Agriturismo per merenda finale consigliato 😜

Nice creek, easy and intuitive but super slippery! There was quite a bit of water and because of the slipperiness we couldn't get to the more comfortable and newer arms. Farmhouse for final snack recommended 😜

Torrente semplice e piacevole con alcune calate un po’ magiche ed “elfiche” caratterizzate da muschio e travertino. Torrente a tratti scivoloso. Acqua freddina. Abbiamo fatto navetta. Parte alta : Quasi secca, con pochissima acqua. Nel tragitto abbiamo trovato nelle pozze molte carcasse di animali. Tra le calate ci sono pezzi in cui si cammina. Parte bassa: Con flusso basso d’acqua. Non erano presenti carcasse di animali. Alcuni scorci molto carini con pozze dove ci si poteva tuffare. Calate semplici.

Simple and pleasant stream with some somewhat magical and "elfin" rappels characterized by moss and travertine. Creek slippery in places. Cold water. We shuttled. Upper part : Almost dry, with very little water. On the way we found many animal carcasses in the pools. Between the rappels there are parts where you walk. Lower part: With low flow of water. No animal carcasses were present. Some very nice glimpses with pools where you could dive. Easy rappels.

Checked the anchor points and integrated in the upper part where missing, now all the canyon is in order; detailed topo in Description/Tour. After a dry winter the upper Fonteno is not dry but the water flow is minimal, a pity for the animal carcasses in the pool cause they are cold but cristal clear. Water flow doubling in the lower cause inheriting from a tributary, creating a scenic double waterfall view under first pitch.
