Von Biasca --> ri. Norden --> beim Kreisverkehr weiter ri. San Gotthard Pass --> immer gerade aus der Autobahnbrücke ent- gegen --> nach steigender Straße und einigen Serpentinen kommt li die Abzweigung nach Nivo/Chironico --> nach der Brücke fährt man durch den Ort --> weiter an der Kirche vorbei bis zu einem Durchfahrt verboten Schild --> hier weiter fahren --> nach ca. 900m kommt eine weitere Brücke mit Ausweiche --> hier parken (Einstieg auf ca.770Hm).

From Biasca --> ri. North --> at the traffic circle continue towards the San Gotthard mountain pass --> straight on from the freeway bridge --> after the road climbs and after a few hairpin bends on the left is the turn-off for Nivo/Chironico --> after the bridge drive through the village --> continue past the church to a no-passing sign --> continue here --> after approx. 900m is another bridge with a turnout --> park here (entry at approx. 770Hm).

Von der Brücke am rechten Straßenrand auf der linken Seite des/der Barougia noch 50 m bachabwärts.

From the bridge on the right side of the road on the left side of the Barougia river(s) another 50 m downstream.

Nach der Wasserstandkontrolle am Einstieg hat man eine kurze Gehstrecke bis zu den ersten Abseilstellen (10m li vom Baum --> gehen --> 6m li vom Baum) --> Sprung von ca. 6m --> nach dem Gumpen könnte man re aussteigen --> über einen kleinen Nadelbaum re überwindet man am sichersten die ca. 10m in den Gumpen vor der Steinbrücke (evtl. abklettern und Rutschen) --> nach der Brücke kommt die höchste Abseiler mit ca. 30min tiefen Gumpen (Stand re, etwas ausgesetzt) –- es folgt ein Baumverhau mit einer 6m Abseilstelle, ein R4 li und C25 re --> nach den nächsten kleinen Gumpen kommt eine kurze Abkletterpassage in engeren Schluchtabschnitt --> von einen Bohrhaken li seilt man sich ca. 10m in das nächste Becken ab --> die darauf folgenden Stellen werden am besten abgeklettert --> auf ca. 660Hm endet die Tour vor einer Wehranlage (der 40m Abseiler nach der Wehranlage wurde bei unserer Begehung nicht gemacht).

After the water level control at the entry you have a short walking passages to the first downclimb passages (10m left from the tree --> walking --> 6m left from the tree) --> jump of approx. 6m --> after the pool you could get out right --> over a small conifer on the right you overcome the safest the approx. 10m into the pool before the stone bridge (possibly downclimb and slide) --> after the bridge comes the highest downclimb with approx. 30min deep pools (stand on the right, somewhat exposed) --> a tree entanglement follows with a 6m rappel, a R4 on the left and C25 on the right --> after the next small pools comes a short downclimb in a narrower canyon section --> from a bolthook on the left you rappel about 10m into the next pool --> the following places are best rappelled --> at about 660Hm the tour ends in front of a weir (the 40m rappel after the weir was not done during our ascent).

Wenige Meter oberhalb der Wasserableitung rechts hinaus und auf dem Pfad hinauf zur Straße (nicht den Kraftwerksweg nehmen, der einige Meter nach Beginn des Pfades horizontal und drahtseilgesichert leicht abwärts führt!).

A few meters above the water diversion out to the right and on the path up to the road (do not take the power plant path, which leads a few meters after the start of the path horizontally and wire-secured slightly downhill!).
