Anfahrt:

Von Nizza über Cagnes-sur-Mer nach Vence (ca. 25 km). Man verlässt Vence in (nordwestlicher) Richtung auf der D 2 hinauf zum Col du Vence (962 m ü.NN). Etwa 5 km weiter das Auto nach einer Linkskurve in einer kleinen Bucht am Rande der Straße ab.

Zustieg (10 min):

Vom Parkplatz einige Meter zurück auf der D 19 findet man die Abstiegsspuren links hinunter in's Bachbett. Nach einigen hundert Metern "Kiesellatscher" erreicht man den ersten Abseiler.

Tour (4 h):

Der obere Teil lohnt nur bei ausreichendem Wasserdurchsatz (erst am 1. Abseiler ersichtlich). Zuerst ein vertikaler Abschnitt mit einigen höheren Abseilern. Dann etwa 15 Min. Laufen, bis zu einem Fußweg, der den Bach kreuzt.

Rückweg (1 h):

Nun entweder weiter zum unteren Abschnitt (vgl. Cagne II) oder den Pfad rechts hinauf zur Straße und hier wieder rechts zum Auto.

Pour l'approche, nous avons suivi la route. On finit par croiser un éperon rocheux caractéristique sur la droite, puis un second. Juste après le deuxième, on trouve des petites marches qui mènent à un chemin qui vous amènera juste au dessus de la première cascade. Dommage que le canyon soit parsemé de déchets. Une belle surprise dans ces conditions !Pour l’approche je pense qu’il y a beaucoup plus court que la description de descente canyon car il y a un chemin qui arrive quasiment au premier rappel. En suivant la description du site on a mis 20 minutes. La MC pour atteindre le relais de la seconde cascade est quand même bien technique car il n’y a rien pour les pieds ^^ j’ai d’ailleurs oublier un mousqueton (HMS William de Petzl) si les prochains lisent ce message et le récupère je serai content de le revoir ????Tout le reste passe bien ! L’eau est pleine de sédiment au début impossible de savoir si il y a 20cm ou 2m d’eau mais elle s’éclaircit une fois les premières résurgences atteintes.La C37 est splendide ! Fait sans navette.20minutes approche.2h40 pour la descente.30minutes retour parking aval 40minutes retour parking amont sous la pluie en passant par le chemin. On a pas vu de trace evidente ni de gazoduc,peut etre que l on s est plantés.Quand on remonte la route depuis l aval, on peut apercevoir 2 bitards rocheux sur la droite de la route. Le début est juste sous le deuxième bitard (panneau de signalisation jaune visible au loin). Tout passait dans l actif un gros arbre est tombé au niveau d une cascade, on a pas trouvé l équipement sur celle ci on a des escalade.
