Entweder vom Sylvensteinsee auf der B 307 über Fall nach Vorderriss (7,8 km ab Fall) und dann noch 5,2 km weiter auf der Deutschen Alpenstraße (mautpflichtig ab Vorderriss) oder von Wallgau an der B 11 (ebenfalls mautpflichtig) in östlicher Richtung 7,6 km (ab Abzweigung B 11) kommen wir zur Brücke über den Fischbach. Auf der Nordostseite der Brücke sehen wir ein kleines Kreuz mit der Inschrift "Peter Kozlowski". Hier stellen wir das Auto ab.

Either from the Sylvensteinsee on the B 307 via Fall to Vorderriss (7.8 km from Fall) and then another 5.2 km on the German Alpine Road (toll from Vorderriss) or from Wallgau on the B 11 (also toll) in an easterly direction 7.6 km (from the B 11 junction) we come to the bridge over the Fischbach. On the northeast side of the bridge we see a small cross with the inscription "Peter Kozlowski". Here we park the car.

Von besagter Brücke 500m auf der Straße in westlicher Richtung (Wallgau),, dann rechts ab auf eine Forstpiste. Auf dieser fast 100 Höhenmeter aufwärts, um dann in der langgezogenen Linkskurve rechts abzubiegen auf einen Forstweg. Dieser Forstweg quert nach wenigen Metern einen (orograf. re.) Seitenbach des Fischbachs und etwa 500 m weiter noch einen Seitenbach. Etwa 50 m nach diesem zweiten Seitenbach suchen wir uns in östlicher Richtung einen Abstieg in den Fischbach.

From said bridge 500m on the road in a westerly direction (Wallgau), then turn right onto a forest track. On this almost 100 meters uphill, then in the long left turn right onto a forest road. After a few meters this forest road crosses a (orographic right) side stream of the Fischbach and about 500 m further another side stream. About 50 m after this second side stream, we look for a descent into the Fischbach in an easterly direction.

Wir laufen, rutschen und klettern das Bachgerinne abwärts. Kleinere Abseiler erfolgen vom Baum. Nach etwa 35 - 40 Min. passieren wir den zweiten Zufluss von rechts und kommen an den Beginn des interessanteren Abschnitts mit einer lockeren Aufeinanderfolge kleinerer Abseiler bis hinunter zur Straßenbrücke.

We walk, slide and climb down the stream channel. Smaller rappels are made from the tree. After about 35-40 min. we pass the second tributary from the right and arrive at the beginning of the more interesting part with a loose succession of smaller rappels down to the road bridge.

Exit below the road bridge and up to the car.
