Wie zum Viandico: Wir fahren auf der A-138 von Ainsa nach Norden in Richtung Bielsa. Nach 10 km (ab Ortsmitte Ainsa) queren wir den Rio Bellós und durchfahren anschließend die Ortschaft Escalona. 350m nach der Brücke biegen wir beim Kreisverkehr in nordwestlicher Richtung ("Fanlo" - "Anisclocanyon") ab auf die HU-631. Wir fahren immer am Fluss (Rio Bellós) entlang, kommen in die Schlucht, die Straße führt teilweise hoch an der Wand entlang und nach 13,2 km kommen wir zu einer gößeren Parkfläche in einer Haarnadelkurve nach links. Hier stellen wir unser (ggf unteres) Auto ab. Hierher gibt es auch eine Alternativanfahrt auf besserer, insbes. breiterer Straße. Dazu biegen wir 1,9 km nach dem erwähnten Kreisverkehr im Norden Escalonas links ab auf die Straße nach Buerba und Vio. Wir fahren zunächst vorbei am Campingplatz und dann 12 km hinauf nach Buerba. Am Ort vorbei, hinauf über den Sattel (mit schöner Aussicht in den Anisclo-Canyon) und jenseits in Sepentinen bergab. 4,4 km nach Buerba stoßen wir in spitzem Winkel auf die HU-631, auf die wir nach rechts (in südöstlicher Richtung) abbiegen. Sollten wir nur 1 Auto zur Verfügung haben, würde es sich empfehlen, dass alle bis auf den Fahrer hier aussteigen (samt Gepäck) und den Fahrer allein zu dem erwähnten Parkplatz in der Haarnadelkurve weiter fahren lassen. Der Fahrer kommt nach 1,6 km zu diesem Parkplatz. Vom Parkplatz geht es nun - mit einem zweiten Auto oder zu Fuß - (wieder) die HU-632 bergauf - es gibt auch eine Abkürzung der weiten Straßenschleife auf einem Fußweg in Richtung WNW bergauf -, nach 1,6 km schließt man sich ggf. mit der Gruppe der hier Abgesetzten zusammen und es geht noch 800m weiter bis zur Brücke über den Seitenbach - Barranco Flageto/Metils/Malaguero. Hier können wir unser zweites Auto abstellen, so wir eines zur Verfügung haben.

How to get to Viandico: We drive north on the A-138 from Ainsa towards Bielsa. After 10 km (from the center of Ainsa) we cross the Rio Bellós and then pass through the village of Escalona. 350m after the bridge we turn at the traffic circle in northwestern direction ("Fanlo" - "Anisclocanyon") on the HU-631. We drive always along the river (Rio Bellós), we come into the canyon, the road leads partly high along the wall and after 13,2 km we come to a bigger parking area in a hairpin bend to the left. Here we park our (possibly lower) car. There is also an alternative way to get here on a better, especially wider road. For this purpose, 1.9 km after the mentioned traffic circle in the north of Escalona, we turn left on the road to Buerba and Vio. We first drive past the campsite and then 12 km up to Buerba. Past the village, up over the saddle (with a beautiful view into the Anisclo canyon) and beyond in sepentines downhill. 4.4 km after Buerba we meet HU-631 at an acute angle, on which we turn right (in a southeasterly direction). If we have only 1 car available, it would be recommended that all but the driver get off here (including luggage) and let the driver continue alone to the aforementioned parking lot in the hairpin bend. The driver will arrive at this parking lot after 1.6 km. From the parking lot we go - with a second car or on foot - (again) the HU-632 uphill - there is also a shortcut of the wide road loop on a footpath in direction WNW uphill -, after 1.6 km we join if necessary with the group of those dropped off here and it goes on for another 800m to the bridge over the side stream - Barranco Flageto/Metils/Malaguero. Here we can park our second car, if we have one available.

Es wäre zwar theoretisch denkbar, den Rio Aso flussauf bis zur Puente de la Espucialla zu laufen und dort den Weg nach links hinauf zur Straße und zum Auto zu gehen. Dann wäre der Canyon jedoch überhaupt nicht lohnend. Da er als Zustieg zum Viandico genutzt wird, geht man nach Erreichen des Bachbetts des Rio Aso flussab (Barranco Viandico - vgl. dort).

It would be theoretically conceivable to walk the Rio Aso upstream to the Puente de la Espucialla and there take the path to the left up to the road and to the car. But then the canyon would not be worthwhile at all. Since it is used as access to Viandico, once you reach the streambed of the Rio Aso, you go downstream (Barranco Viandico - see there).
