Von Castellane am Verdon zuerst 12 km Verdon abwärts, dann links ab auf die D 955 und hier weitere 16 km nach Comps-sur-Artuby. Am Ortsanfang in spitzem Winkel gleich rechts ab und auf der D 71 ca. 13,5 km bis zu den Aussichtspunkten der Balcons de la Mescla (Restaurant). Hier ein Fahrzeug parken (nicht auf der Straße vorher, da Einbruchgefahr).

Will man über den seilgesicherten Steig am orogr. linken Ufer aussteigen kann man noch weiter Richtung Belvédère Aiguines fahren und etwa 300m vorher in einer kleinen Parkbucht stehenbleiben.
From Castellane on the Verdon, first 12 km down the Verdon, then turn left onto the D 955 and continue for another 16 km to Comps-sur-Artuby. Auf Stahlklammern durchsteigt man ein 8 m hohes Wändchen und kommt schließlich auf einen Weg, der uns nach rechts (in südlicher Richtung) zur Straße bringt. Hier wieder rechts und nach wenigen hundert Metern zum Restaurant.
Bei zu viel Wasser im Verdon kann auch über einen 2025 neu versicherten Steig am orogr. linken Ufer aufgestiegen werden. Vom Mündungsspitz auf Felsplatten nach links in den Wald aufsteigen, dann immer entlang der Farbmarkierungen in den Wald. Bald geht es entlang von Fixseilen durch Steilschutt aufwärts bevor man an der Wand steht. Linkshaltend durch eine Rinne, über eine Querung und mehrere steile Wandstufen ins Schofengelände oberhalb aufsteigen (Fixseile, eventuell Steigklemmen mitnehmen). Erst kurz nach rechts und dann auf Bändern nach links hinausqueren. Immer den Farbmarkierungen und Steinmännern folgen, sonst wirds schwierig. Aufstiegsdauer 30-40min
After the Artuby flows into the Verdon, immediately after the rock face at its prominent bend (Mescla) about 100 m up the Verdon. Immediately after passing the rock face on the right (orographic left) side, turn right (east, later north) upwards. Climb through an 8 m high wall on steel brackets and finally come to a path that takes you to the right (in a southerly direction) to the road. Turn right again here and after a few hundred meters you reach the restaurant.
If there is too much water in the Verdon, you can also ascend via a newly insured path on the orographic left bank. From the mouth of the river, ascend on rock slabs to the left into the forest, then always along the color markings into the forest. Soon you ascend along fixed ropes through steep scree before you reach the wall. Keeping left, climb through a chute, over a traverse and several steep wall steps into the Schofen area above (fixed ropes, possibly take ascenders with you). Rien ne coule sur la plus grande partie du parcours. Mais il reste pas mal de vasques bien fraîches et avec une qualité d'eau encore bonne. Reste fort beau dans ces conditions. Retour RG ok, mais il faut être bien attentif aux balisages et c’est assez physique. Merci pour la réfection récente du passage équipé. On a remonté des déchets mais il reste encore des bouts de câble à remonter (juste à la sortie du passage équipé en cordes)

Artuby top de gamme. Nous avons reequipé la partie des câbles moisis dans la sortie rive gauche du Verdon (câbles électriques) avec des vrais spits et des stats. Nous n'avons pas réussi à transporter tous les déchets (morceaux de câbles) si vous pouvez en évacuer lors de vos passages c'est chouette. Lionel

Great conditions, a good flow of water from top to bottom, all Pools full and Long stretches of swimming. We exited on the path on river left which went better than expected. Don't loose the yellow and blue markings. The black electrical cable helps ascending the scree and there are new ropes and bolts on the climbing sections. After that first keep slightly to the right, the head left to reach a good path which crosses into friendlier Terrain. Highly recommend under the current conditions

Maintenant ou jamais, un eau translucide et assez bonne. Mais ça ne va pas durer s'il ne pleut pas fort. Rencontré un sympathique groupe du CAF, nous nous sommes mutualisés pour franchir le Verdon par la "botte secrète" car la remontée rive gauche ne nous tentait pas. Par contre attention nous avions des informations erronées concernant le lâcher de barrage (32 pour moi et 16 pour eux) par deux canaux différents, dans les faits il y avait au moins 40 ce qui nous a occasionné pas mal de bricolage. Ce serait intéressant que ce moyen de sortir de l'artuby (décrit par moi même en 2018?) soit renseigné dans les moyens de sortie. Je ne sais pas le faire. Lionel

DANGER !!! La sortie rive gauche est très dangereuse. Les premiers câbles électriques qui servent de MC ont l'air corrects, mais les cordes aux passages délicats sont HS (cramées et jonchées de tonches). Les éboulis parpinent en permanence. Le dernier câble de MC n'est pas arrimé !! Heureusement, je n'ai pas mis tout mon poids dessus et m'en suis rendue compte en voyant l''ancien amarrage : une petite branche, actuellement cassée et posée au bord du ravin. Sur la fin de la remontée, nous n'avons plus vu de traces bleues (ou autre couleur, beaucoup de traces jaunes fluo sont présentes au début). Nous avons pris ce qui semblait être au plus simple. De l'escalade instable. Mon partenaire est resté plusieurs fois avec des prises dans les mains et ce qui devait arriver arriva : un frigo m'est passé à 50 cm. A partir de ce moment, nous nous sommes servis de la corde pour tirer des longueurs... en enfin arriver à la route. Nous pensons que nous avons pris une ancienne sortie, qui a pris cher ... je déconseille fort d'emprunter cette sortie. Il nous aura fallu 2h45 pour rejoindre la route, puis une petite demie heure pour arriver au pont.Sinon : canyon magnifique dans ces conditions et exceptionellement en eau du début à la fin. Un debit correct par rapport à la largeur du canyon, aucun piège décelé. Des siphons sont quand même présents mais évitables facilement. 15m3 de lâché du barrage dans le Verdon, et donc traversée qui semblait très délicate pour rejoindre la sortie rive droite ou le sentier Martel.
