Autobahnabfahrt Tarvisio. Richtung Slowenien/Bovec. Über die IT/SLOW Berggrenze (Predilpass). Nach dem Grenzübergang folgt man der Straße Bergab Richtung Bovec. Kurz vor Log Pod Mangartom (zwischen Podnji Log und Stmec na Predlu) kommt eine Brücke die über die Predelica führt. Gleich danach fährt man links in eine Schottereinfahrt die nach ca. 100m endet. Hier hat man eine große Parkmöglichkeit und man sieht auch schon den oberen Teil der Schlucht.

Freeway exit Tarvisio. Direction Slovenia/Bovec. Cross the IT/SLOW mountain border (Predil Pass). After the border crossing follow the road downhill towards Bovec. Just before Log Pod Mangartom (between Podnji Log and Stmec na Predlu) there is a bridge over the Predelica river. Immediately after that, turn left into a gravel driveway that ends after about 100m. Here you have a large parking area and you can already see the upper part of the canyon.

Vom Parkplatz (ca. 620Hm) geht es zunächst über den Bach zu einer kl. Wiese (Lichtung) hier hat man auch einen Einblick in den letzten Schluchtteil --> an dieser Stelle folgt man den Wanderweg li. hoch --> nach einige Höhenmeter sieht man auch schon den 50m Wasserfall (Wasserstand) --> von hier noch ca. 20min weiter hochsteigen und dann re zum Einstieg/Bachbett (ca. 800Hm).

From the parking lot (approx. 620Hm) it goes first over the streambed to a small meadow (clearing) here you also have an insight into the last part of the gorge --> at this point you follow the hiking trail left up --> after a few meters of altitude you can already see the 50m waterfall (water level) --> from here continue climbing for about 20min and then right to the entry/streambed (approx. 800Hm).

Am Anfang hat man kurze Geh-und Kletterpassagen. Nach kurzer Zeit kommen auch schon die ersten kl. Abseiler die ohne große Mühe bewältigt werden --> die Schlucht ist im oberen Teil sehr offen und sonnig --> hat man sich mal warmgelaufen und die ersten Abseiler hinter sich gelassen, kommt man zu einem beeindruckenden 50m Wasserfall mit gutem Kettenstand (!Scharfe Kante) --> Im ersten Drittel befindet man sich direkt im Wasserstahl. Dnach seilt man sich im Überhang ab --> nach dieser Stelle kommt eine kurze Gehpassage --> jetzt wird die Schlucht eingeschnittener --> die Tour bietet bis zum Schluss abwechslungsreiche und schöne Passagen mit meist kleinere Abseiler im Wasserverlauf --> kurz vor dem Austieg kommt noch ein kurzer schmaler Schluchtenabschnitt.

At the beginning you have short walking and climbing passages. After a short time there are the first small rappels which are mastered without much effort --> the canyon is very open and sunny in the upper part --> once you have warmed up and left the first rappel behind, you come to an impressive 50m waterfall with a good chain anchor (!sharp edge) --> in the first third you are directly in the water steel. After that you rappel in the overhang --> after this point comes a short walking passage --> now the canyon is cut --> the tour offers until the end varied and beautiful passages with mostly smaller rappel in the water course --> shortly before the exit comes another short narrow canyon section.

Der Ausstieg ist rechts direkt bei der Wiese am Beginn des Zustiegs (ca. 620Hm) --> von der Wiese wieder über den Bach zum Parkplatz.

The exit is on the right directly at the meadow at the beginning of the access (approx. 620Hm) --> from the meadow again across the stream to the parking lot.
