Von Ventimiglia das Tal der Roya 16 km aufwärts; dann links an auf die D 93 in Richtung Sospel. Nach 13 km - zum Teil hoch über der unteren Bevera entlang - erreicht man in einer scharfen Linkskurve die Brücke über den Bassera.
Alternativzufahrt von Sospel: Auf der D 2204 Richtung Col de Brouis. Nach 2 km rechts ab auf die D 93. Nach weiteren 2 km führt die 2. Straßenbrücke über den Bassera.
In der Canyonschrift des Conseil General (Fundstelle unter Weblinks) wird eine Autoumsetzung vorgeschlagen, die einen Abstieg auf dem GR 52A als Zustieg vorsieht.
From Ventimiglia up the Roya valley for 16 km; then turn left onto the D 93 towards Sospel. After 13 km - partly high above the lower Bevera - you reach the bridge over the Bassera in a sharp left-hand bend.
Alternative access from Sospel: Take the D 2204 towards Col de Brouis. After 2 km, turn right onto the D 93. After another 2 km, the 2nd road bridge leads over the Bassera.
In the Conseil General's canyon description (see weblinks), a shuttle is suggested which includes a descent on the GR 52A as an access route.

An der Brücke (Parkplatz Ausstieg) beginnt auf der orograf. re. Bachseite ein schattiger Weg bachaufwärts. Nach einigen hundert Metern wechselt er an das andere Ufer, wo er bleibt, bis der GR 52A genau dort erreicht wird, wo er den Bach quert (Einstieg mit 8-m-Rutsche).
At the bridge (exit parking lot), a shaded path begins upstream on the orographic right side of the stream. After a few hundred meters, it changes to the other bank, where it remains until reaching the GR 52A exactly where it crosses the stream (entry with 8 m slide).
