Von der Straße Barbastro - Huesca (N-240) etwa 25 km nach Barbastro rechts ab auf die A-1229 in Richtung Abiego, Rodellar. Wenige hundert Meter nach Abiego links ab und nach Bierge. Dabei kommen wir über den Rio Isuala, den wir später in den Estrechos de Balcés auf- oder abwärts gehen werden. Wir nehmen an der Brücke eine erste vorsichtige Einschätzung des Wasserstandes vor. Wenige Meter vor Erreichen der Ortschaft Bierge biegen wir zuerst rechts ab, dann aber sofort wieder links, in Richtung Rodellar, "Barranco de Mascun". 6,8 km nach dieser Kreuzung ist in einer markanten Linkskurve eine geeignete Fläche zum Abstellen unseres Autos.\n\nEin zweites Fahrzeug können wir entweder bei der großen Eiche am Ausgangspunkt einer Begehung des Cueva Cabrito (vgl. dort) oder an der Brücke über den Rio Izuala an der Straße von Bierge nach Adahuesca parken. Maßgeblich für die Wahl der Alternative ist der gewählte Rückweg (Vgl. unten "Ausstieg").\n

From the Barbastro - Huesca road (N-240), about 25 km after Barbastro, turn right on the A-1229 towards Abiego, Rodellar. A few hundred meters after Abiego, turn left towards Bierge. In doing so, we cross the Rio Isuala, which we will later go up or down in the Estrechos de Balcés. We take a first cautious estimate of the water level at the bridge. A few meters before reaching the village of Bierge, we first turn right, but then immediately left, towards Rodellar, "Barranco de Mascun". 6.8 km after this intersection, in a prominent left turn, there is a suitable area to park our car.\n\a second vehicle we can park either at the large oak tree at the starting point of an ascent of the Cueva Cabrito (cf. there) or at the bridge over the Rio Izuala on the road from Bierge to Adahuesca. The choice of the alternative depends on the chosen way back (cf. below "Exit").\n

Von der Wiese, die zur Straße hin eingezäunt ist, gehen in nördlicher Richtung 2 Pisten ab. Wir nehmen die untere (östliche) und folgen ihr, zunächst in nördlicher, später mehr in nordwestlicher Richtung. Die Abzweigungen nach re. und li. ignorieren wir. Auf dem Rücken zwischen dem Bco. Cueva Cabrito ond Alborceral treffen wir auf eine von li. kommende Piste, der wir ca. 100 m nach rechts bergab folgen. Hier biegt dann in rechtem Winkel ein mit Steinmännern markierter Pfad ab, der uns durch Unterholz zum Einstieg führt (700m üNN). Der Zustieg kann auch über einen li. Zufluss erfolgen, vgl. From the meadow, which is fenced off from the road, 2 slopes lead off in a northerly direction. We take the lower (eastern) one and follow it, initially in a northerly direction, later more in a north-westerly direction. We ignore the turn-offs to the right and left. On the ridge between the Bco. Cueva Cabrito and Alborceral we meet a track coming from the left, which we follow downhill to the right for about 100 meters. Here a path marked with cairns turns off at a right angle and leads us through undergrowth to the entry (700m above sea level).
