Von Nizza auf der N 202 norwärts in Richtung Digne. Nach etwa 17 km auf der Brücke Charles Albert über den Var links ab und die D 17 hinauf nach Gilette und auf kurvenreicher Straße weiter hinter im Esteron-Tal nach Roquesteron (ca. 26 km ab Var-Brücke). 3,5 km nach Roquesteron geht es links ab auf die D 10. Nach wiederum 3,5 km geht es über die Brücke beim Ausstieg des Riolan, nach weiteren 4,5 km erreicht man die Ortschaft Aiglun. Am westlichen Ortsausgang ist ein großer Parkplatz auch für die Schluchtler bereitgestellt. Mit dem zweiten Fahrzeug geht es zurück zur D 17 und dort links nach Sigale. Von hier oberhalb der Clue de Riolan entlang zur Straßenkreuzung an der Pont de Miolans (7 km auf der D 17). Hier biegt man links ab auf die D 2211. Nach etwa 4 km geht es dann links weg zur Ortschaft Sallagriffon. Auf dem großen Parkplatz vor dem Dorf das zweite Fahrzug abstellen.

From Nice on the N 202 northwards in the direction of Digne. After about 17 km on the bridge Charles Albert over the Var turn left and the D 17 up to Gilette and on winding road further behind in the Esteron valley to Roquesteron (about 26 km from Var bridge). 3.5 km after Roquesteron turn left onto the D 10, after another 3.5 km cross the bridge at the exit of the Riolan, after another 4.5 km you reach the village of Aiglun. At the western exit of the village there is a large parking lot also for the gorges. With the second vehicle you go back to the D 17 and there turn left to Sigale. From here along above the Clue de Riolan to the road junction at Pont de Miolans (7 km on the D 17). Here turn left onto the D 2211 and after about 4 km turn left to the village of Sallagriffon. Park the second car in the large parking lot in front of the village.

Vom Parkplatz geht man noch wenige Meter in Richtung Dorf, um dann auf den ersten Feldweg nach rechts abzubiegen (Markierung "75"). Über "75a" erreicht man einen Bergrücken, der den Blick auf den Schluchteingang der Aiglun eröffnet. Man kommt zu einer Informationstafel. Bei der Markierung "75b" biegt man vom Wanderweg rechts ab auf einen Pfad und geht in südwestlicher Richtung hinunter zum Bach. Wenn man nur ein Fahrzeug hat, kann man von der Ortschaft Aiglun auf einem Bergpfad über den Rücken des Mont St Martin (1257 m) zum Einstieg gelangen, siehe auch wikiloc-Link.

From the parking lot, walk a few more meters towards the village and then take the first dirt road to the right (marked "75"). Via "75a" you reach a ridge that offers a view of the entrance to the Aiglun gorge. You come to an information board. At the "75b" marker, turn right off the hiking trail onto a path and head southwest down to the stream. Die attraktive Schlucht mit ihren engen holzverblockten Passagen ist mit 170 Quadratkilometer Einzugsgebiet bei anschwellendem Wasser lebensgefährlich. Ähnlich wie beim benachbarten Riolan ist das Wasser regelmäßig trübe, so dass die wenigen Srungmöglichkeiten vorher ausgelotet werden müssen. Teilweise geht es an Fixseilen über die Schluchtrinne und oberhalb von ihr entlang, um die mühselige und z.T. schwierige Kletterei über das verblockte Holz in der Rinne zu vermeiden.

With a catchment area of 170 square kilometers, the attractive canyon with its narrow wood-blocked passages is life-threatening when the water swells. Similar to the neighboring Riolan, the water is regularly cloudy, so that the few climbing options must be sounded out beforehand. In some places, fixed ropes are used across and above the chute to avoid the arduous and sometimes difficult climbing over the blocked wood in the chute.

100 m vor der Straßenbrücke weist das Schild "Sortie" zwingend den Ausstieg an. Man steigt auf einem guten Pfad aufwärts (schöne Ausblicke!), sieht dann oben die Ortschaft Aiglun und erreicht diese dann in wenigen Minuten.

100 m before the road bridge, the sign "Sortie" obligatorily indicates the exit. You climb up a good path (beautiful views!), then see the village of Aiglun at the top and then reach it in a few minutes.
