Bei dem Kreisverkehr am Flugplatz von Locarno, wo die 4-spurige Zufahrt (von Bellinzona kommend) nach Locarno beginnt, nordwärts zur alten Verbindungsstraße Bellinzona-Locarno. Am nächsten Kreisverkehr dann rechts auf diese Straße und 850 m weiter links abbiegen zum Schulzentrum in Riazzino. Die Straße vor dem Schulzentrum rechts hinauf und auf der zweiten Parkplatzebene das untere Fahrzeug abstellen. Mit einem zweiten Fahrzeug wieder hinunter, beim Schulzentrum rechts und 330 m weiter rechts die erste Straße hinauf. Nach zwei Serpentinen treffen wir auf eine Querstraße, der wir nach rechts in Richtung Bugaro, Piandessio, Agarone folgen. Vor der Brücke über den/die Pesta können wir links das zweite Fahrzeug abstellen.

At the traffic circle at Locarno airport, where the 4-lane access road (coming from Bellinzona) to Locarno begins, head north towards the old Bellinzona-Locarno road. At the next traffic circle turn right onto this road and 850 m further on turn left to the school center in Riazzino. Turn right up the road in front of the school center and park the lower vehicle on the second parking level. Take a second vehicle back down, turn right at the school center and 330 m further on up the first road on the right. After two hairpin bends, you come to a crossroads which you follow to the right in the direction of Bugaro, Piandessio, Agarone. Before the bridge over the Pesta, we can park the second vehicle on the left.

Auf der Straße wieder nicht ganz 100 m zurück und dann rechts abbiegen auf den Fußweg in Richtung Peross. Auf Stufen geht es den Weinberg aufwärts; dann läuft der Weg auf den Bacheinschnitt zu. Wir öffnen (und schließen) eine Tür im Drahtzaun und biegen etwa 30 m weiter rechts vom Weg auf einen Pfad ab, der uns in's Bachbett führt. Wenn man nur 1 Fahrzeug zur Verfügung hat, beginnt der Zustieg nach oben direkt beim Parkplatz (dann 40 Min.).

Go back along the road for about 100 m and then turn right onto the footpath towards Peross. On steps go up the vineyard; then the path walks towards the stream incision. We open (and close) a door in the wire fence and about 30 m further on we turn right from the path onto a path that leads us into the streambed. If you have only 1 vehicle available, the access to the top starts directly at the parking lot (then 40 min.).

Abfolge einfacher Abseiler. Gut zu kombinieren mit den benachbarten Cugnasco inf., Carcale oder Tenero. Auch machbar, wenn andere Canyons zu viel Wasserdurchsatz haben.

Sequence of easy rappels. Good to combine with the neighboring Cugnasco inferiore, Carcale or Tenero. Also feasible if other canyons have too much water flow.
