Günstiger erscheint jedoch , zuerst von Alquezar oder Radiquero mit dem Auto nach San Pelegrin zu fahren (Vom ersten Parkplatz in Alquezar links weg 2,6 km), die Ortschaft zu durchqueren und dann noch einmal 1,9 km weiter nach Norden zu fahren. Hier geht in spitzem Winkel nach rechts eine Piste ab und wir lassen unser Auto hier stehen.
Hier beginnt ein Pfad, der in nördlicher Richtung (zwischendurch ein kleiner Rechts-Links-Schlenker bergauf führt. Später dreht er etwas in Richtung NNO.
Wir kommen auf den Bergrücken und gehen dort etwa 80 m nach SSo, um auf einen Weg zu stoßen, der aus südlicher Richtung kommt. Ihm flgen wir nun nach links. Der Pfad macht einen Bogen nach links und vereinigt sich mit einem von rechts kommenden Weg. Auf dem nunmehr gemeinsamen Weg etwa 150 m nach Norden, dann biegen wir rechts ab auf einen Pfad, der uns nach ca. 500 m zu einem rechten Seitenbach des Chimiachas bringt. Von hier in nordöstlicher Richtung zum Chimiachas.
Falls man nur den interessanten unteren Teil abseilen will, Kann man auf einem gepflegten Weg vom Tozal dero Tiesto direkt dorthin kommen (der dünn gepunktete Weg in der Übersichtskarte hinunter zum Rio Vero).

However, it seems more convenient to first drive from Alquezar or Radiquero to San Pelegrin (2.6 km from the first parking lot in Alquezar on the left), cross the village and then drive another 1.9 km further north. Here a dirt road turns off to the right at a sharp angle and we leave our car here.
This is the start of a path that leads uphill in a northerly direction (with a small right-left turn in between). Later it turns slightly to the NNE.
We reach the ridge and walk about 80 m to the SE to join a path coming from the south. We now follow it to the left. The path curves to the left and joins up with a path coming from the right. Continue north along the now shared path for about 150 m, then turn right onto a path that takes you to a right-hand side stream of the Chimiachas after about 500 m. From here, head north-east towards the Chimiachas.
If you only want to rappel the interesting lower part, you can get there directly from the Tozal dero Tiesto on a well-maintained path (the thinly dotted path in the overview map down to the Rio Vero).

3 Möglichkeiten. Entweder im Rio Vero bis zur Puente Villacantal und von hier nach Alquezar oder im Vero flussab, um auf Höhe des großen Überhangs rechts hinauf zu ziehen (Spuren, Steinmännchen).
Eine dritte Möglichkeit wäre, den Vero etwa 150 m flussauf zu waten und dann den Weg hinauf zunehmen, den ich schon als Zuweg zum Zwischeneinstieg von oben erwähnt habe.
Der von uns genommene Weg zieht vom Fluss zunächst auf einer Felsrampe hoch, quert dann eine kleine Wand über der Chimiachas (Drahtseil), quert dann den Chimiaachas selbt und zieht auf die Höhe hinauf. Dort entweder links nach Alquezar oder nach einem kurzen Stück dieses Weges rechts ab auf die Piste, die zum Auto nördlich von San Pelegrin führt.
3 possibilities. Either in the Rio Vero to the Puente Villacantal and from here to Alquezar or downstream in the Vero to go up on the right at the height of the large overhang (tracks, cairns).
A third option would be to wade up the Vero for about 150 m and then take the path that I have already mentioned as an access route to the intermediate entrance from above.
The path we took first goes up from the river on a rock ramp, then crosses a small wall above the Chimiachas (wire rope), then crosses the Chimiachas itself and goes up to the top. There, either turn left to Alquezar or, after a short stretch of this path, turn right onto the track that leads to the car north of San Pelegrin.
