Either from the direction of Cuneo or from the Roya Valley we come to Borgo San Dalmazzo. From here we take the SS21 and go up the valley of the Stura di Demonte via Demonte and Vinadio, passing Sambuco. After about 43 km we turn right in the village of Pontebernardo and park our car in the square in front of the church.\n

We now take the path that leads in a northerly direction, crosses the Stura and goes up the orographic right slope of the Rio Conforent (yellow markings). We ignore a path that goes off to the right over the stream, which is indicated with a red mark (would be the way back with the alternative access). A little later our path also crosses the Rio Conforent and winds upwards in serpentines. At an altitude of 1600m we meet a path that comes up from the Castello above Pietraporzio (alternative access). We follow it uphill until we reach an altitude of just over 1900m. Here the path makes a sharp bend in a southerly direction and a green arrow on a rock points to the entry. We traverse the steep slope roughly horizontally and are quickly in the streambed. When we hit the right point of entry, we see in green the inscription "Canyon Club Adrenalina".\n

Ahead of us are 25 rappels, repeatedly interrupted by block passages in the upper area. (Emergency) exit possibilities open up at best in the first quarter of the descent. The limestone is partly sharp-edged.

After the last rappel - C33 - the canyon opens and we quickly meet our access path, where it crosses the stream. If we have chosen the alternative access from the Castello above the village of Pietraporzio, we take the path that after a few meters on the path on the orographic right bank of the Conforent again turns left over the stream and is marked with red markings. It brings us back to the Castello.
