Von Villach kommend ins Drautal bis nach Fellbach fahren --> kurz vor dem Ortsende geht li. eine Forststraße in den Wald hoch --> ab beginn Forststraße, noch im Talboden ist nun eine Fahrverbotstafel Forstweg, ich denke aber nicht das diese offiziell aufgestellt wurde --> nach einer Häusergruppe gabelt sich die Straße --> li. weiter bis zur Brücke --> an der re. Seite parken (wenige Parkplätze).

Coming from Villach, drive into the Drautal valley as far as Fellbach --> shortly before the end of the village, a forest road goes up into the forest on the left --> from the beginning of the forest road, still on the valley floor, there is now a forest road no driving sign, but I don't think this has been officially erected --> after a group of houses the road forks --> continue left to the bridge --> park on the right side (few parking spaces).

An der Brücke geht es re. vorbei (Wanderweg) --> man kommt an einer Pegelmessstation vorbei (Zulauf im unteren Teil der Schlucht) --> den Weg immer weiter hoch bis zur Forststraße --> danach der Forststraße bis auf 980Hm folgen (Brücke über Bach) --> von der Forststraße aus hat man mehrmals die Möglichkeit in die Schlucht zu sehen.

Pass the bridge on the right (hiking trail) --> you will pass a water level measuring station (inlet in the lower part of the canyon) --> continue up the trail until you reach the forest road --> then follow the forest road up to 980Hm (bridge over stream) --> from the forest road you have several opportunities to look into the canyon.

Nach kurzer Gehstrecke und kleinen Rutschen folgen mehrere kl. Stufen die zum Teil auch außerhalb der Wasserführung abgeseilt werden können --> an der Wehranlage angekommen hat man eine ca. 10m Abseilstelle in einen tiefren Gumpen --> nach der Wehranlage kommen noch ein paar kleine meist unproblematische Abseilstufen (Rutschen) --> die anfängertaugliche Schlucht ist sehr offen und bei höherem Wasserstand auch noch gut machbar --> zusätzlich besteht die Möglichkeit fast im gesamten Schluchtenverlauf auf die Forststraße auszusteigen.

After a short walking passages and small slides follow several small steps which can be partly rappelled outside of the water flow --> arrived at the weir you have an approx. 10m rappel point in a deep pool --> after the weir there are a few small mostly unproblematic rappel steps (slides) --> the canyon, which is suitable for beginners, is very open and at higher water levels still well doable --> in addition there is the possibility to get off almost in the entire canyon course on the forest road.

Nach der letzten Stufe und kurzer Gehstrecke im Bach gelangt man re. auf die Forststraße und auf dieser in kürze zurück zum Parkplatz.

After the last step and a short walking passages in the stream, you reach the forest road on the right and return to the parking lot in a short time.
