Auf der N-240 von Lleida oder auf der A-138 von Frankreich durch debn Tunnel von Bielsa über Ainsa nach Barbastro. Auf der Umgehungsstraße um die Stadt herum und auf der N-240 weiter in Richtung Huesca. Ungefähr 22 km nach Barbastro zweigen wir rechts auf die A-1229 ab. Über Abiego und Bierge (nach Abiego links abbiegen) kommen wir nach Rodellar (ca. 30 km ab der Abzweigung von der N-240). \n\nHaben wir 2 Autos zur Verfügung, kann man eines beim "Camping El Puente" am Alcanadre abstellen (etwa 600 m vor Rodellar die Teerstraße links steil hinab (Wegweiser).

In Rodellar der Beschilderung zum Barranco Mascun folgen. Wir kommen hinunter zum Bach, queren diesen und kommen zur Quelle auf der rechten Seite. Weiter geht es nordwärts, wir gehen nun links den Bco Fornocal de Andrebot hinauf. Wir kommen aus den Büschen heraus und stehen auf einer freien Hochfläche, Recht geht der Haptweg weiter in Richtung Nazarre und Einstieg Gorgas Negras. Wir nehmen die schwächer Spur nach links, überschreiten die flache Kuppe und wandern jenseits hinab Richtung Alcanadre. Man erreicht den Fluss am südöstlichen Ende einer begrasten Ebene mit einigen Pappeln. Obwohl der Barrasil etwas weiter flussauf seinen Anfang nimmt, beginnt man normalerweise hier den Abstieg.\n\nEs gibt eine interessante zweite Anmarschmöglichkeit. Dazu läuft man vom Campinplatz "El Puente" an der Puente Pedruel den Wanderweg in Richtung Rodellar. Er läuft anfangs am orograf. linken Hang hoch über dem Flussbett des Alcanadre, senkt sich dann aber bei der alten Steinbrücke "Puente Coda" hinunter zum Mascun. Wir überqueren die Punte Coda und folgen dem schwachen Pfad, der uns nach einigen Serpentinen auf die Höhe später kontinuierlich nach Nordwesten führt. Bei der Wegfindung ist ggf. etwas Gespür und Orientierungssinn gefragt. Wir treffen dann auf den vorstehend beschriebenen Anmarschweg und folgen diesem links abwärts zum Fluss.

Continuing northward, we now go up the Bco Fornocal de Andrebot on the left. We come out of the bushes and stand on an open plateau, right the haptic trail continues towards Nazarre and entry Gorgas Negras. We take the weaker tracks to the left, crossing the flat crest and hiking beyond down towards Alcanadre. You reach the river at the southeastern exit of a grassy plain with some poplars. Although the Barrasil begins a little further upstream, the descent usually starts here. To do this, you walk from the campsite "El Puente" at the Puente Pedruel along the trail in the direction of Rodellar. At the beginning it walks on the orographic left slope high above the riverbed of the Alcanadre, but then it descends at the old stone bridge "Puente Coda" to the Mascun. Wir beginnen am Ufer laufend und den Fluss mehrfach querend. Wir kommen dann zu einem Chaos, das am interessantesten im Lauf der Wasserlinie durchquert wird. Sollte der Wasserdurchsatz jedoch (zu) stark sein, kann man sich am rechten Ufer halten, sollte es auch hier problematisch sein, kann man das Chaos recht oben an der Hangkante umgehen.
Nächstes Highlight ist "La Olleta" ein tiefer und tiefgrüner Sprunggumpen.
Nicht unaufmerksam links vorbeilaufen (ist mir bei meiner ersten Begehung passiert).
Am Ende kommen dann die langen Schwimmstrecken, wo zu Abwechslung aber auch immer wieder Sprungmölichkeiten von der - meist rechten - Seite eröffnet sind.
We start walking on the shore and crossing the river several times. We then come to a mess that is crossed most interesting in the run of the water line. However, if the water flow is (too) strong, you can keep to the right bank, if it is also problematic here, you can bypass the chaos right at the top of the slope.
Next highlight is "La Olleta" a deep and deep green jumping pool.
Do not pass inattentively on the left (happened to me on my first ascent).
At the exit come the long swim sections, where for a change but also always jump possibilities from the - mostly right - side are opened.

Haben wir ein Auto beim Camping "El Puente" stehen oder sind von dort losmarschiert, tendieren wir nach der letzten langen Schwimmstrecke und dem Öffnen der Schlucht rechts hinaus und gehen Pfad zur "Puente Pedruel am Campingplatz.
Haben wir nur 1 Auto und das oben in Rodellar stehen, können wir auch zum Campingplatz und von dort auf der Teerstraße nach Rodellar (evtl. Autostop).
Wir können auch vom Campingplatz den schon erwähnten Wanderweg nach Rodellar gehen
Eine interessante Alternative besteht darin, vor Ende des letzten Schwimmgumpens in die enge und leicht zu übersehende Mündung des Mascun hinein zu schwimmen ("Ultimos Estrechos"), dann im Mascun flussauf und an der Punte Coda rechts auf den Fußweg nach Rodellar aussteigen oder im Mascun vollends hinauf zu wandern und zu klettern bis zu den Wiesen unterhalb der Felsen, auf denen Rodellar liegt. Von dort dann im Bogen rechts hinauf nach Rodellar.
If we have a car at the campsite "El Puente" stand or have marched from there, we tend after the last long swim and the opening of the canyon right out and go path to the "Puente Pedruel at the campsite.

An interesting alternative is to swim into the narrow and easily overlooked mouth of the Mascun ("Ultimos Estrechos") before the exit of the last swim, then upstream in the Mascun and get off at the Punte Coda to the right onto the footpath to Rodellar, or to hike all the way up the Mascun and climb to the meadows below the rocks where Rodellar is located. From there, turn right up to Rodellar.

Gros débit dans le chaos du début avec les siphons annoncés on est plutôt passés par la voie aérienne entre les gros blocs dès le moindre doute. Ensuite canyon large et ensoleillé, paysages très jolis Pas besoin de corde mais du coup pas mal de marche dans l'eau.
