Situándonos en Loja por la A92. Cruzaremos el río Genil para ir al barrio de San Francisco. Por la calle San Francisco subimos hacia la estación del tren y poco antes de llegar giraremos a la izquierda por la calle Las Cruces para pasar al otro lado de las vías. Seguiremos la calle dirección Este, con las vías a nuestra izquierda y tomamos la primera (calle Adelfas) para bajar. En donde acaba la calle empieza una pista forestal que va paralela al río Genil, iremos por ella 2 kms hasta la salida de nuestro barranco. Aquí aparcamos el coche de retorno . Si tenemos dos vehículos, con el de acceso retrocedemos 1,5 kilómetros y giramos a la izquierda por la pista que sube por la cuesta. Otro kilómetro y medio después llegaremos a un cruce en la pista de arriba, la cogemos girando a la izquierda. A los 600m otro cruce, esta vez en descenso a la izquierda. Y 600m después otro cruce a la derecha hasta el final de la pista. Hay una finca al final, hay que ser respetuosos y buscar dónde no molestar.

Starting in Loja on the A92, we’ll cross the Genil River to reach the San Francisco neighborhood. We’ll head up San Francisco Street toward the train station, and just before we get there, we’ll turn left onto Las Cruces Street to cross to the other side of the tracks. We’ll continue east on the street, with the tracks on our left, and take the first street (Adelfas Street) to head downhill. Where the street ends, a forest trail begins that runs parallel to the Genil River; we’ll follow it for 2 km until we reach the entrance to our ravine. Here we’ll park the car we’ll use for the return trip. If we have two vehicles, drive the first one back 1.5 kilometers and turn left onto the trail that climbs the hill. Another kilometer and a half later, we’ll reach a junction on the upper trail; take it by turning left. After 600 meters, there’s another intersection; this time, take the path downhill to the left. Another 600 meters further on, take the path to the right until you reach the end of the trail. There’s a farm at the end, so please be respectful and find a spot where you won’t disturb anyone.

Desde el coche de acceso seguimos de frente por la pista casi hasta que se acaba y gira a la derecha, en ese momento sale una sendita a la izquierda por la cual bajar al cauce. Desde el coche de retorno por la senda paralela al arroyo. Otra opción es aparcar al lado del arroyo por la pista que lo cruza (ver mapa)

From the access car we continue straight ahead along the track almost until it ends and turns right, at which point there is a small path to the left to go down to the riverbed.
