Hier - 2,6 km vor Larrau und neben der "Auberge Logibar" - parken wir unser Auto auf einem Wanderparkplatz.

Here we take the GR 10, which leads in a southerly direction to the Gorges de Holzarte and Olhadubie. We cross the Gorge Olhadubie high up on a suspension bridge. The path now climbs to about 750m above sea level, then branches off. We turn left, following the "Olhadubi" signpost (GR 10 variant). J'ai trouvé ce canyon magnifique mais c'est une bonne mission. Fait à 2 en 8h avec un seul qui equipe. La marche de fin dans la rivière est effectivement longue et glissante. Le canyon, lui, n'est pas spécialement glissant, bien moins glissant que Phista fait hier en tout cas. J'ai posé deux mains courantes seulement, nombreuses sont celles qui sont inutiles ou qui peuvent être évités avec un Valdo. Des sauts et même des mini tobs. Un encaissement très marqué pendant longtemps, le plus beau canyon du pays basque et à coup sûr l'un des plus beaux des Pyrénées.
