Take the A5 Turin-Aosta-Mont Blanc motorway and exit at “Nus.” At the roundabout after the toll booth, turn left, cross the Dora Baltea river, and enter Fénis. Drive up to the upper part of the village (Fraz. Barche) and turn right at the sign for “impianto idroelettrico clavalité.” Park just before the bridge (only one parking space), climbing sign. Upstream: cross the bridge, then turn right and follow the road that climbs 12 hairpin bends towards Cerise. Pass this hamlet and park where a track branches off to the right.

Go down this path on the D side, which passes in front of an old dilapidated chapel, to the bridge.

This route would be equipped to pass through the asset or outside with a few MCs. However, there are some basins... Important note: At the exit of the route, signs have been posted prohibiting access from below both to the final section of the canyon and to the climbing crag nearby. These signs are only visible at the gates of the power plant and not along the approach road. 👉 Extra care is recommended when planning the descent and checking the current access conditions. Alpine canyon with very high water flow, navigable at low water since the construction of the hydroelectric plant in 2007. Without shuttle: About 40 meters before the bridge, a trail begins: trail no. 1 towards Clavalité-Robioz. Approach from the left bank in 1 hour.
