Von Annecy auf der N 508 am Südwestufer des gleichnamigen Sees entlang über Duingt bis zum Südende des Sees bei Bout-du-Lac (17 km von Annecy). 2 km weiter (also nach 19 km ab Annecy) zweigt links die D 909 in nördlicher Richtung ab, um am Ostufer des Sees nach Talloires zu führen. Wir biegen aber genau in entgegengesetzter Richtung nach Süden ab, durchfahren dann in östlicher Richtung Doussard und weiter in südöstlicher Richtung nach Saury (ca. 3,5 km ab N 508). Hier stellen wir das Auto in der Nähe der Brücke ab. From Annecy on the N 508 along the southwest shore of the lake of the same name via Duingt to the south end of the lake at Bout-du-Lac (17 km from Annecy). 2 km further on (i.e. after 19 km from Annecy), the D 909 branches off to the left in a northerly direction to lead to Talloires on the eastern shore of the lake. However, we turn south in the exact opposite direction, then drive through Doussard in an easterly direction and continue in a southeasterly direction to Saury (about 3.5 km from N 508). Here we park the car near the bridge. Von der Brücke nehmen wir einige Meter die Teerstraße in südlicher Richtung bergauf, biegen dann aber sogleich auf einen Feldweg rechts ab, der links an einem Haus vorbei am Waldrand bergan führt. Wir folgen dann dem anschließenden Fußweg über einen Steg (darunter die Mine) in nördlicher Richtung und gelangen auf eine breite Straße. Auf dieser weiter in Serpentinen bergan, bis wir uns in südwestlicher Richtung der Schlucht nähern. Wo die Straße (etwa auf Höhe 970 m ü.NN) einen Bogen nach rechts beschreibt (links unterhalb Mast einer Stromleitung) führt ein Pfad südwärts steil hinunter in's Bachbett.

From the bridge we take the tarred road uphill in a southerly direction for a few meters, but then immediately turn right onto a dirt road that leads uphill on the left past a house at the edge of the forest. We then follow the subsequent footpath over a footbridge (below the mine) in a northerly direction and reach a wide road. Continue uphill on this in switchbacks until we approach the canyon in a southwesterly direction. Where the road (at about 970 m above sea level) describes a bend to the right (on the left below the mast of a power line), a path leads southward steeply down into the streambed.

Bei der Wasserfassung rechts hinaus, auf dem Pfad in Serpentinen hinunter zu dem uns schon bekannten Steg und dann auf dem Anmarschweg zurück zum Auto.

At the water intake, turn right and follow the serpentine path down to the already known footbridge and then return to the car on the approach path.
