In Almunecar von der N 340 ab und auf der SO 2 nordwärts über Jete und Otivar, vorbei an der Abzweigung der Straße nach Lenteji bis zur Straßenbrücke (über den Lenteji) in einer Linkskurve (14 km ab Almunecar). Hier das erste Fahrzeug abstellen. Mit dem zweiten die Straße weiter und kurvenreich über dem Rio Verde bergauf, vorbei an einer aufgelassenen Tankstelle am Mirador de la Cabra Montes und vorbei an der Tafel, die an der Zufahrtspiste des Rio Verde steht. Etwa 450 Meter weiter (nach den Verkehrszeichen '40' - 'scharfe Kurve' - 'Steinschlag') geht rechts hinunter eine Piste ab. Nach Gómez a.a.O. soll hier - vielleicht noch etwas weiter auf der Straße in Richtung Granada - ein Vermessungspylon 'MP 282' stehen, den wir jedoch nicht gesehen haben. An der Anzweigung das zweite Auto abstellen (ca. 13,5 km ab der Straßenbrücke, ca. 1000 m ü.NN).
In Almunecar, leave the N 340 and head north on the SO 2 via Jete and Otivar, past the junction of the road to Lenteji to the road bridge (over the Lenteji) in a left-hand bend (14 km from Almunecar). Park the first vehicle here. Continue with the second vehicle up the winding road over the Rio Verde, past an abandoned petrol station at the Mirador de la Cabra Montes and past the signpost on the access road to the Rio Verde. About 450 meters further on (after the traffic signs '40' - 'sharp bends' - 'rockfall'), a dirt road descends to the right. According to Gómez op.cit. there should be a survey pylon 'MP 282' here - perhaps a little further along the road in the direction of Granada - but we did not see it. Park the second car at the junction (approx. 13.5 km from the road bridge, approx. 1000 m above sea level).

After the slide brake, you walk for a long time in the mostly dry river bed and rappel several times until you finally come across flowing water. A little later, the side canyon Palomas joins from the left via a small wall, which - like the Guadajana - can be chosen as an alternative approach (cf. descriptions there).the neighboring canyon to the west is the Rio Verde(-Chorreras) with its headwaters Cortales, Funes and Madronales. Très joli petit canyon très facile. De beaux paysages, belle nature au calme. Avons commencé par l'affluent Guadajana. On a fait du stop pour montrer au village depuis le parking aval. 30 min d'approche. 2h de canyon. 30 min retour.

On a pris une entrée plus classique, un peu au dessus du village de lentegi qui amène directement au départ de l'encaissement. Canyon très bien équipé et très jolie. J'ai préféré à Rio Verde. Merci à Emma du club spéléo local pour la navette fortuite. Sans navette depuis le croisement entre la route principale et lentegi, il y a une route secondaire qui coupe et qui est donné pour une heure à pied.
