Von der Autobahnausfahrt Ventimiglia das Roya-Tal aufwärts nach Breil sur Roya. Am Ende des sich lang hinziehenden Ortsausgangs geht es links an auf die N 2204 in Richtung Sospel. Nach 2 km zweigt rechts eine kleine Straße ab, die am orograf. rechten Hang der Maglia hochzieht. Nach einem Tunnel erreicht man die Brücke über die Morghe mit beschränkter Parkierungsmöglichkeit.

Eine Abfolge unterschiedlich langer Abseiler bis hinunter in die Magglia, die man vor der Grotte erreicht. Der hohe Abseiler wurde inzwischen etwas seilschonender eingebohrt. Zunächst 20m zu bereits von oben sichtbaren Stand knapp vor der kurzen Rutsche Richtung Kante abseilen. Hier einen Seilquergang über 4 Haken zu dem Hängestand rechts einrichten. Vom Hängestand dann 60m bis ins Becken abseilen. Direkt von oben kann man diesen Stand nur sehr schwer erreichen. Beim letzten Abseiler in die Maglia kann man rechts eine bei starkem Wasserdurchsatz der Maglia weniger delikate Abseilmöglichkeit wählen. Man geht nun durch die Grotte und steigt bei danach bei dem entsprechenden Hinweisschild rechts hinauf zur Anfahrtsstraße. Man kann auch die Maglia nun vollends weitergehen, sollte dann aber unten im Roya-Tal ein zweites Fahrzeug abstellen. Oder man stellt das eine verfügbare Fahrzeug oben bem Maglia-Parkplatz ab, läuft dann zum Einstieg in die Morghe die Straße hinunter und nach der Maglia den Maultierpfad auf der orograf. linken Seite wieder hinauf zum Auto (bei der Pfadgabelung links halten). Es kommt entscheidend darauf an, den Wasserstand der Maglia vorher zu prüfen, da man sonst in deren Strudelgumpen bis zur Grotte in Lebensgefahr geraten könnte. Allerdings dürfte die Gefahr nach der Aufkiesung durch die Mure (2020) nicht mehr bestehen.

A sequence of rappels of varying lengths down to the Magglia, which is reached before the grotto. The high rappel has now been drilled a little more rope-friendly.
