Von Locarno kommend biegt man in Gordola ins Valle Verzasca ab und folgt dem Strassenverlauf bis nach Lavertezzo und fährt durch Motta hindurch (linker Hand kleine Bar). Kurz darauf überquert man den Bach und gelangt linker Hand hinter einem zweiten Bach auf den Parkplatz (Juni 2023 CHF 5,-/Tag).

Coming from Locarno, turn into Valle Verzasca in Gordola and follow the road to Lavertezzo, passing through Motta (small bar on the left). Shortly afterwards you cross the stream and reach the parking lot on the left behind a second stream (June 2023 CHF 5/day).

Vom Parkplatz aus folgt man der Strasse wieder Richtung Motta. Links erscheint eine Treppe und eine Zufahrt zu einer Wiese, der man folgt. Am Waldrand geht links ein kleiner Weg ab (blaue Markierung vom RIC 2018, Pfeil mit Wellenlinien). Dem Weg folgt man über den Bach und vor einem zerfallenen Häuschen geht es rechts hoch (blaue Markierung etwas zurückversetzt). Der Weg zunehmend steiler, je höher man kommt. Die letzten 10 Minuten ist der Weg ausgesetzt und folgt dem Schluchtrand. Ein paar Meter sind mit dünnem Drahtseil versichert. Kurz darauf gelangt man auf felsigen Untergrund und man befindet sich am Einstieg an einem kleinen Pool mit Aussicht.

From the parking lot, follow the road back towards Motta. A staircase and an access road to a meadow appear on the left, which you follow. At the edge of the forest, a small path branches off to the left (blue markings from RIC 2018, arrow with wavy lines). Follow the path over the stream and turn right uphill in front of a dilapidated cottage (blue marker slightly set back). The path becomes increasingly steeper the higher you go. For the last 10 minutes, the path is exposed and follows the canyon rim. A few meters are secured with a thin wire rope. Shortly afterwards, you reach rocky ground and find yourself at the entry point by a small pool with a view.

Gleich zu Beginn gelangt man in eine 200 m hohe Wand, die in leichten Stufen und kleineren Absätzen gegen Ende rampig ausläuft. Danach folgen viele Abeiler und die Bäume säumen den Abstieg.

Right at the start, you reach a 200 m high wall, which ramps out in easy steps and smaller ledges towards the exit. This is followed by many abseils and the trees line the descent.

Nach dem letzten Abseiler geht man links auf die Wiese und an der Strasse rechts zum Parkplatz zurück.

After the last rappel, turn left onto the meadows and then right along the road back to the parking lot.
